-20 mins calling
-1 hour or 2 with 3G connection
-4 hours music non stop,full volume
-2 hours for gaming

my battery since 9.30 a.m until now 7.30 p.m (egypt time) is still 30 % so far. is it good or bad?

Haha still very early to start looking forward to it. Not yet a release candidate version and the camera and videos don't work, GPS is slow, wifi is buggy and keyboard is in japanese.

i can say, maybe this is the best option for good battery life for me somehow. im a game addict, cannot tahan kalau see the battery drain quickly when playing the games. haha, btw u're still with 7.0?

Oh I never disable lagfix. The reason u have to disable lagfix if ur using different configurations like from ext2 to ext4. Voodoo and speedmod by default is ext4, so you don't have to disable previous lagfix.

Before darkky -> I started flashing on 7.8
I was using ULK, at first it was really fast.
Then after a while it become slow like %!$#.
I thought it was just my network getting slow (internet based stuff)
then my friend in sg also told me his phone is now a tortoise.

So I don't think its the apps or internet connection rather than the kernel itself. It was so laggy that yahoo mail took forever to load and I couldn't even reply/read mail.

It was that laggy.

Actually, as far as I remember, matte is smoother for swiping and other finger movements compared to naked. Really smooth.

Speaking for recent experience, and a bit off-topic, I regret installing clear SP for my 64GB iPad - makes it hard to play games that need lots of finger swipes. The iPad before this one, the 16GB one, had a matte SP and everyone (my colleagues, my son, myself) loved playing games on it. Planning to tear off the clear and install a new matte SP..

So guys and gals, you want nice display, go for clear. You want smooth swipes, go for matte.. 

and without SP.. sacrifice of scratch risk..

i already did the test scratch with a key lat night and i found that the gorilla glass is hard to be scratch.  but its just that, the smudges are really visible rather than when i was using matte sp. aiyoyo

li-ion batteries .. u have to charge it a few cycles before it reaches its optimal usage level, since urs is just a new set .. start judging after 3~4 charges, and rmb dont fully deplete the battery as its not good for li-ion batteries ..
darky's rom, just download .. put in sd card and install through cwm, the zip file includes scripts to overwrite ur phone's system changing its firmware and pit files ... so no worries and just flash ...

btw, darky v8 wifi modem is using JPA's or JPY's?

my sgs menu button light not as bright as back button, the difference very obvious, is it a defect?
