don wori, do some reading either in this thread or xda-developers or google. as long as u're willing to learn biggrin.gif there're 2 "3 buttons combo". Do this when ur phone is switched off
1. Download mode = Press volume down + home + power button ;
2. Recovery mode = Press volume up + home + power button
until u see the Galaxy S GT I9000 screen then release all the buttons.

Download mode is to flash firmwares via Odin for ur phone, Recovery mode... erm. can do lotsa things, even flashing firmwares. lol... laugh.gif
Once u have the 3 buttons combo working, then u're safe to flash ur phone, but do it at ur own risk.
If ur phone doesn't have it, there's a fix on the first page of this thread.

Do some reading, u'll eventually learn smile.gif

no, it's like a place where u can do some customisation and flashing of ur phone's firmware. The 3 buttons combo brings us there, it has features to flash ur phone, eg: flashing back to ori state after lagfix or custom rom and mods those

higher quadrant doesn't mean anything. OCLF has 1900+ but after some usage it'll lag eventually. compared to Voodoo which has 1500+ quadrant, it doesn't lag like how OCLF does. Speedmod is not a lagfix, thus it wont yield quadrant as high as 1500+ or 1900+. It's only an optimised kernel with multiple lagfix options in it. with 1187 using Speedmod, it's good already. If u want to enable lagfix, go into CWM, ULK features and enable it there (eg: ext4). BUT Speedmod without lagfix is oredi fast biggrin.gif

solved mine every time I wipe battery stats. charge til 100% let it charge sumore then off ur phone charge it till 100% for about an hour then wipe batt stats

Yeah, I like hardcore's work thumbup.gif currently battery is like the good old days during BUJP8 for me. so it's not considered as bad but, not godlike like those aiming for 72hours tongue.gif I can still last up to 24 hours with moderate usage. give it some time.. a few recharge cycles will be better I think hmm.gif
