Yeah , ive installed KDE in my Ubuntu before , my Gnome bcome KDE like , n it was --- YUCK = =

KDE is kinda abit *bling bling* type and some say its hard to use , might wanna get used to it

Ive discover a way to change the login background , icons on the login background and theme of the login background for Maverick . (Coz gdm2setup is not compatible anymore with Maverick)

Snapshot : (Taken with Cybershot instead , cant print-screen )



Customized it with a Faenza Variants Cupertino icon + elementary Theme and even Compiz's wobbly windows

Ive even changed the font setting (making it smaller) and changed the cursors to black instead of default white

Background can be changed using this method too

All you need to do is juz type this command @ Terminal :



Then logout and tweak from there

Then login again and type :



This will prevent the Appearance app from starting off everytime you login into your Ubuntu

*Dun forget to copy your background to this folder if u wanna change the login background




Tested on Ubuntu Maverick 10.10

Might work on any os which is based on Ubuntu 10.10 Test @ ur own risk

Facebook ~ Tweetdeck can solve that but Hotot cant support facebook (they say sumting bout it which i cant remember)

Why i didn use Tweetdeck ? Uses alot of RAMS

Maybe you can try Tweetdeck for Chrome (installable through App Store)

Waiting for the new Gwibber , hope it doesnt disappoint me

Its everywhr in d google obviously
