problem solved...
i install ringtones from Wolfbreak bundle set, then walaaa... can ring more than once..
so ur theory is correct... something got to do with the ringtone files...it could be overlapped

Anyway, i need to install WB ringtones bundle also cos in Trip's MIUI, he didnt include SONY Ericsson tone..

bro, glad to hear that ur satisfied with ur phone condition..
but if u ask me, that doesnt really solved the problem.. under normal usage, it should not reboot, unless ur using a custom firmware thats not stable la..
and thats expected...

for my case, after they change my MOBO.. no more boot problem at all, even if the phone temp goes beyond 50C, even while charging... just to let u know...

anyway, just to share my MIUI screen (maybe can lure more MIUI users here ).... downloaded from Theme Manager using the phone itself...
after all this while, i think this is the most polished firmware ever.. the MIUI idea is to keep it minimal and simple, I guess..
i like the lock screen - the lock icon glows with green background during charging...
i like the toggle sytle button in setting windows too.. very clean

im on 52...at first i install a new fresh 2.1 with BB49 .... but somehow intermittently wont receive call.. i tested this using my housephone..
so i upgrade to BB52.. all smooth now...

but there's a patch for those who are on 54, 55 and 58..u can try if u want... few pages back, Mikee post a link
it should work just as good...

wolfbreak is also using MIUI camera...
also, read TRIPs posting on the camera issue..
need to change some settngs then its all good

for normal usage, yes.. i highly recommended... this is coming from a user (me) that has tried almost all the custom rom available out there..
why? IMHO, simply becos MIUI rocks...overall feeling is, totally like a different phone.. and better...

this should be my final firmware for now before SE release the Gingerbread for X10..

the only bug that i see is -
when u connect ur phone to ur PC and mount ur sdcard- all ok.. u can browse sdcard content from pc..
but when u want to disconnect, the remount option is not there on the phone..
u need to remove safely from PC (just in case), then just unplug the cable..
it should be ok...

i bet soon Trip will correct this bug in the coming release.. but to me, thats not a big issue really...

u may know this, but just to double confirm...
in mobile network setting (for froyo), make sure "only use 2g is not selected" like in the pic below..
for eclairs, u have 3 option.. GSM (2G) , WDCMA (3G) or both(auto switch)... make sure u select wdcma only... and see if can browse internet...
not sure if under coverage? then check this out when ur in centre of town.. im sure all major town has 3G now...

also, hav u tried ur sim card on other phones??

not Iphone la.. MyPhone...

ur battery got power not? try do some offline charging(dont switch on, just plug in charger)
check if u can see a battery display...
if got, then ur screen is ok ... if not, take out battery n leave for 5minutes or so...

frankly speakin, i dont think the price will drop that much..
considering Arc already launched, and so far, price for x10 remain the same...
Arc is 2099 , and x10 1299... huge gap... i'm sure phone shop owners are confident enough that x10 can still sell at that price..

Neo=X8

and still, X10 is selling at 1299 while Neo starts at 1.4K... so u rili think the shop owner will lower X10 price?
unless Neo can sell below 1299 la, then maybe the price of X10 might drop abit...

IMHO, x10 has reach its minimum price already..... not too expensive, but yet, not too cheap to be classified as a mid range phone
