i had this tv, lg 42ld460. the salesperson says its full hd 1080p.. but then, i saw my tv box and there's no full hd logo.. so is it true that my tv cant support hd? i m afraid i may receive the wrong tv model. and the dynamic contrast ratio is only 100000:1... is it enuf to have a full hd view?

Read your Manual lah, that's what it's for smile.gif

Btw, Dynamic contrast has nothing to do with Full HD or no Full HD. And don't be fooled by the Dynamic contrast figure given by LG. It's all marketing Bullshit biggrin.gif. The figure they give is highly exaggerated.

Ok, lah if Manual not stated then refer to specifications on the website loh smile.gif.

But it is a Full HD (1920x1080). Already knew that, just want to make you do some searching yourself first biggrin.gif

It is 50Hz/60Hz. Standard Refresh rate as other brands at this kind of price.

Frame interpolation is about creating new images in-between frames captured by the video camera/telecine. All HD video broadcast is at 25fps (Europe) and 30fps (US and Japan). So if the TV's refresh rate is 50Hz/60Hz, then the FI it can do is double.

As far as the ball shooting past, if it's not there in the broadcast signal it's not there. No FI can do that for you.

What's the model no stated on the box? Don't get so hung up on whether there is any full hd logo on the box or not.

Not neccessary. Some HDTV ready can accept 1080p signal and downscale it. If your TV is HD ready, means 1360 x 768 resolution. Nothing going to change that. No magic gonna make it suddenly become 1080p panel.
