Anything 1920x1080 is full hd, the i/p is only indicate if it is interlace or progressive scan

Not neccessary. Some HDTV ready can accept 1080p signal and downscale it. If your TV is HD ready, means 1360 x 768 resolution. Nothing going to change that. No magic gonna make it suddenly become 1080p panel.
