QUOTE(madmoz @ Dec 19 2010, 09:15 PM) giggs during his younger days was no angel. just saying. Well come back and tell me if he did something like Balotelli did. On field, not a single red card in club career. Off field, the most I heard is partying with Lee Sharpe until the gaffer had to barge into their crib. Rumours said he beat up his then gf, but I've not heard that's true. Nobody is an angel. But is everyone a devil? This post has been edited by pyroboy1911: Dec 19 2010, 09:35 PM

Manchester City Striker Carlos Tevez Begs Manchester United to Take Him BackQUOTE Manchester United have been approached with a sensational offer to buy Carlos Tevez back from their neighbours City. Contact was made this week by a party closely connected with striker Tevez, who quit Old Trafford in May 2009, with a view to finding out whether United manager Sir Alex Ferguson would be interested in re-signing him. Ferguson was made aware of the approach, which was neither at City’s behest nor with their knowledge, but sources close to Old Trafford indicate there is absolutely no chance of the player returning, even if City did decide to sell. With Tevez ready to return to play against Everton in a game which could take City to the top of the table, the club show no signs of buckling under the pressure of the player’s publicly-stated desire to leave. And they continue to point the finger of blame for the turmoil at the player’s advisor Kia Joorabchian. Victory over Everton on Monday would mean Mancini’s men would be top on Christmas Day for the first time in 81 years. (Daily Mail) I think it is fair to say that Carlos Tevez burned down all bridges back to Old Trafford some time ago so the idea that he wants to move back to Man United is a little hard to fathom, if this indeed this source is accurate. We have heard a whole myriad of speculative reasons for the 26 year old decision to push for an Eastlands exit and yet we seem no nearer to knowing what exactly is fuelling the striker’s desire to flee. Some say this is just a crafty ploy to get more money from Sheikh Mansour, but given that Tevez is reportedly the highest paid player in the Premier League, such a claim must surely be wide of the mark. Some point to the break up of his marriage and the fact he is reportedly homesick and misses his children, that would somehow make a move across the city of Manchester a little confusing. What is certain is the following. Man United will not buy back Carlos Tevez and Man City will a) try as hard to not sell the player and b) if they do, they will definitely not sell to another Premier League club. Bro, first of course the players to need to have some rest. We can't just slot in the match just few days before the next game like that. And secondly, we can't just replace the Sunderland game with Chelsea game, it would bring problems as we need to change the whole match schedule/fixtures for the rest of the season. He was down with the virus along with a few others a couple of weeks back, and then he got injured I think. He's another one i hope will show some improvement in his play ala Anderson so far.
