you must chevron unlock to use all those TouchXperience's tools.

i believe your's wasnt unlock as there is not many shop who know how to unlock WP7, most WP7 user here just follow XDA to do chevron unlock.

but 1st what is your OS version??

go to setting > phone info > about > check your phone software - OS Version : 7.0.7390.0

if 7390 mean you wont be able to chevron unlock for sideload unless your restore back to earlier OS version 7008.

there is always a risk if temper with the OS, but still many ppl like to do it , well i have TMobile HD7 and SiS HD7 so i dont mind taking a risk to unlock on both of my HD7 and im doing this just for fun. Due to limited market access in our region which i hope the mango update or future update will allow us to enter the Market using our own CreditCards.

with chevron unlock it wont do any harm on your device although M$ claims it will, i've done few time of flashing from 7390 back to 7008 ROM. Read further for instructions on how to restoring back to 7004 ROM.

Restoring your 7390 back to 7004 (SEA ONLY)

1. check your Firmware version
- Firmware version: XXXX.XX.XXXXX.728 >> 728 Asia 7004 ROM
- Firmware version: XXXX.XX.XXXXX.707 >> 707 Asia 7004 ROM


How to Restore
1. Sync all of your contact over your Live Account, after sycn besure to check your live account for complete sync contacts. no sms can be back atm.
2. Off your Device - GoodBye
3. While Hold your Down Volume Power on till you goes into BootLoader Mode.
4. Plugin your Devices - on your device screen you will read USB, wait for pc detection to complete.
5. Simply Execute the RUU.exe
6. wait for the process to complete took bout 20mins.

To Chevron Unlock you need few tools
1. Windows Phone Developer Tools > Download this from M$ Site - process took about 1hour depending on your internet connections.
2. Zune >> http://www.zune.net/en-US/
