connect phone with USB cable to any desktop/laptop with Zune installed. run zune in the desktop/laptop. go to phone setting cellular and turn off data connection.

try go Facebook from ya phone. it should work even ya internet line is blocked by firewall.

Sideloaded app still work.

But I heard Samsung Omnia 7 can't update. :/

connect phone, in zune, view sync options under phone tab, goto Update option and it'll check for updates.

u don't need to wait. I confirm the update is available for maxis hd7. just connect to Zune. go setting at upper right. then go phone at left handside. then go update. it should inform you there is a new update 7004:7008

How long does it take to update?

mostly depand on how much data to backup. if u stored many files inside like me. takes about an hrs. 12gb of movies inside. or else with a streamyx stable line and c2d processor. takes about 10-15min.

make sure yea connection are not on heavy download.

Try out appd load time and marketplace update speed .

its smoother for sure. and delay ringing on sms/call seem doesnt appear today for me after update.

i tried to keep sudden exit marketplace to crash it. but after few try.. the marketplace still doesnt crashed.

Singtel LG still no update.. hope this doesnt make me regret my snap purchase of a singtel model

@fulat : I dont think snap exiting Marketplace crashes it, cause Marketplace is one of the few apps that can run in background. From my experience its more of problems in data transfer that causes it to crash.

I tested under some grey area for connection where signal can drop immediately from full bar till no signal at all. so if you mean connection crash it. I think MS might solved that issue.
