Well, mine is singtel and it wasn't SIM locked

My fren won it from starhub.. It was under starhub rom.. How to check whether it is telco lock or not? anyway to bypass it? cause i just flashed singapore rom and cant read sim yet

You flashed it before u even tried putting ur SIM in?

U can check if the phone is Telco binded by going settings -> about and see if there's a carrier setting

But it doesn't mean the phone is locked if you have a carrier mark

well.. i have checked all the original free ROM for Optimus 7 are all telco branded ROM. there's no open ROM for ya case.

for Singapore and SEA. only 2 ROM released which will be SINGTEL and STARHUB. so make a choice.. which one u prefer.

i tried inserting my sim and it states sim invalid.. flashed to singapore rom and upgraded to latest version.. still invalid sim..

I have no idea. But there is no open source Optimus 7 ROM listed. The most complete open sources where u can find is HTC. Mainly because the use microSD I guess.

its only around 2 months away
might come with dual core + qHD display + front camera .

how do i manually trigger the 7661 update. My phone is already updated to the 7401 one. Then the 7661 showed up, by the update (downloading step) failed to due internet connection problem. So how do i restart the 7661 update?

Just plug the phone in and then go into settings, under the phone section you can find an UPDATE option where you can manually do an update scan.

tried that few times already. if i have no other choice, i have to revert back to NoDo and repeat the process all over again. theres gotta be a way to complete just the final step

have u tried to uninstall the zune beta, restart ya desktop/laptop. then install back the zune beta?

btw guys, how does the trial in xbox live works?

i didnt have to install zune beta for upgrading to mango trial .
but after install that, the current zune prompt saying nid to update zune .

Depends on the game, usually they'll let you play a few levels so you get a feel for the game to encourage you to buy the game.
