I upgraded my firmware to 4.2.1, but found that all my apps still run OK. Only funny thing is that the so-called mute switch at the top right doesn't lock the screen rotation like most manuals/guide books say it would. It just mutes the sound. Any reason?

Facing the same issue here. Its a little irritating when thr slightest tilt any side will cause the screen to rotate. |

Any reason? because they change the rotation lock button to mute button, not sure which firmware change it back again.... well inside setting there can set back....i not sure where, you have to find your self because i still using iOS 3x.  |

I feel still okay for the changes, but anyway, rumors says that in iOS4.3 it might let us to choose the switch for screen rotation or mute function. So, we might wait and see. |

Does anyone have an application that can batch convert powerpoint files to pdf? My powerpoints all appear screwed up in Goodreader on my ipad.

my ipad started showing 'No Wifi' as greyed out... does anyone has the same problem? and what should i do? have to take it back to the apple retailer shop? thx |

Try going to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
Hope this helps, I did have WiFi problem earlier and solved with this remedy.  |
