QUOTE(Fornx @ Dec 15 2010, 01:03 AM) As described by Hardcore ... Covers most ASEAN countries. But I'll give u a 'special' - my own csc update.zip. The sales code is XSP but I modified it to have the mobile data configs for all carriers in the DX- series ROM: Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines. No, it won't wipe data/apps except maybe the APN you may have added yourself. |

QUOTE(kswong7660 @ Dec 15 2010, 12:55 AM) Guys i need need some opinion from u all, currently im on stock DXJPA and there's 3 popular kernel available now which is I would definitely rank Voodoo and Speedmod higher than YA-OK. I used YA-OK before.. it hangs for multiple times(when I'm taking photos only), VERY VERY disturbing. only when I change the kernels then there's no more hang. YA-OK is not as stable as voodoo and speedmod IMHO. if u're on DXJPA, I suggest u use Speedmod. 1)hardcore speedmod K10J 500hz 2)YA-OK ver 1.50 3)VooDoo stable 5.0.1 In all this 3 diff types of kernel which one performs best at video playback and recording, gps and also battery life? currrently im on YA-OK but video playback tends to hang everytime, any advice is greatly appreciated Speedmod - stable for everyday use. tweaks are nice with lots of features like BLN, several lagfix options Voodoo - probably best in lagfix YA-OK - overclocking again, it's only my opinion Added on December 15, 2010, 1:23 am QUOTE(nasrulbond @ Dec 15 2010, 01:08 AM) get the apk from doc's addon then put it in system/app and installThis post has been edited by ken2291: Dec 15 2010, 01:31 AM |

QUOTE(lch78 @ Dec 14 2010, 09:16 PM) That looks like Samsung's reply to supercurio when he asked them to release the source code for JPU firmware. No mention by Samsung that they plan to develop/release Gingerbread for the SGS that I can see.. |

I wanna ask you all. How did you all managed to get the screencapture working all the time (Froyo)? Did you use 3rd party screencap program instead?
My default screencap (back + home) doesn't work most of the time. 11 times out of 10 don't work. lol. Any tips in that? Even freshly rebooted the phone also the same. Only if lucky, sometimes it work. So I haven't been capturing my screen for a while now. |

No mention by Samsung that they plan to develop/release Gingerbread for the SGS that I can see.. I'd say, supercurio was trying to test water with those internal people to see if they'd leak any evidence of their development on Gingerbread for SGS. I guess he didn't get any piece of that bread in the end. Not even the source code for JPU! lol.Added on December 15, 2010, 1:47 am QUOTE(kmrdeva @ Dec 15 2010, 01:44 AM) Yup, assuming that GPU usually drains more battery compared to CPU.Added on December 15, 2010, 1:49 am QUOTE(ken2291 @ Dec 15 2010, 01:45 AM) I'd place my bet on GPU using more battery due to the complexity of 3D processor against CPU.Well, at least on PC case, it does. I mean, my notebook been blowing hot air, all thanks to the 3D GPU which worked non-stop. I guess it's not much different when it comes to mobile device, or maybe my doubt was wrong.
