QUOTE(XCInspire @ Jan 12 2011, 05:30 PM) Added on January 12, 2011, 5:34 pmHow much he charged you? In order to let him conduct his business as he deems fit, I don't think I'll share how much he charged me. Maybe to protect my own ego too, in case someone comes along and quotes a lower price haha! Anyway, doesn't run much from how much he quotes everyone else.

QUOTE(mryellow19 @ Jan 15 2011, 03:23 PM) Same here. It's like when you accelerate the car, the wiper's speed gets faster I do not even need to change the speed on the knob BTW, Manual 1.8 here too. I don't think it's a feature per-se. Even my old waja and wira also like that. If I'm not wrong, when your car is idling or at low speed, less power is being generated by your altenator, so the wipers actually move slower. When it rains here, we drivers basically tax the car's electric system to the max, air con switched on, wipers on, head lights on, fog lights on. However at high speed, the altenator generates more power, so the current fluctuation manifests itself in wiper speed (and probably brighter lights). You can also notice this in some cars like when you turn on the wipers in an idling car, the car clock may dim slightly, etc.

QUOTE(protondriver @ Jan 17 2011, 10:44 AM) My bag is tight with something like cable tie and not open yet. It not suppose have anything missing. Mine was also tied, but when I opened it, there's a compartment that was empty, as though soemthing is missing. That's why Im asking if anyone can list what's in their emergency bag. Want to confirm if something really is missing, or the compartment is really empty.

QUOTE(dessimo @ Jan 18 2011, 11:51 PM) Yup. That's exactly what I did with mine. Also if you intend to do SG, it's better that you spray it first, then Glow it and finally install. (The car looks great with the spoiler) Btw, does anybody know if the car comes with the heater function? Does it emit hot air or just air from the compressor? I felt like it was hot when I tried it an hour ago. Anyone? My footwell section always got warm air coming out. Asked the SC to rectify it, but it's still there. >.<

QUOTE(apache_utara @ Jan 20 2011, 10:39 PM) I'm no electrical expert, but fuses are just fuses. it's there as a protection. If you have 6amperes supply, u will get slightly lower value due to resistance of wires, heat, etc. If u have lower rated fuses than the supply, it will blow. Even if you put 100ampere-rated fuse, the supply would still be at ~6amperes. *just an example* Correct me if i'm wrong guys. You are right. Fuses have NATURAL RESISTANCE because that's how a fuse works >.< It resist surges in the current. If you get a fuse that has low resistance, it will naturally resist LESS surges, or only surges of higher intensity. This means, with your "performance fuse" you may really get improved performance, but a price of electrical part lifespan. The word "performance fuse" should already clue you in. What performance part is built to last? Look at F1 engines ( =

QUOTE(SteadyPana @ Jan 23 2011, 12:52 PM) While waiting for my 2.0P - Kia Cerato 6 speed 2.0 seems a pretty good buy If you're not too concerned about parts and afterservice, I would definitely go for that. Safety features are great, transmission is new. My honest opinion ( =

QUOTE(apache_utara @ Jan 27 2011, 12:05 PM) I'll be getting mine soon enough. hope to get the side skirts as well Hey, where would you be getting from? Can I tag along? haha. Want to get the GT spoiler too, and maybe the side skirts. Would it create problems if lets say in the future people start selling the front and back skirting molds? Like for example, they only sell in a set, so then if i get side skirts nw, next time wasted? QUOTE(apache_utara @ Jan 27 2011, 05:19 PM) Hmm would changing earlier mean higher trade in price for the tyres?

QUOTE(rublik @ Jan 27 2011, 07:53 PM) Hehe, too late for me. Btw, why do some of you guys change to 17" instead of 18"? Is the price difference for 18" tyres much more than 17"s? Or is it the rims? I can't find the source, but If i remember correctly, ride and handling between 17" and 18" difference is negligible. So if the price points are similar, might as well go for the 18" as it looks nicer IMO haha.

I see. I really know nuts about car tyres, so... thanks for the info Damn, anyone got that link of the test of different sized tyres? They got a car, put in 15,16,17,18 (something like that) and tested them. Very good read, with nice pictures to help you visualize the size. Can't even google it ><

You should get/be getting an extra booklet for your free service, it's an additional one. The vouchers attached to the service bookelet are void on all of ours. I got my additional free service voucher booket almost a month later. LOL. Some got when they collected their cars.
