Yes, if you are worried, dont DIY, let someone to install for you when you want to purchase it, also them to check for you before you purchase it.

just file the complain & your receipt later will show it, it will be official rather than just verbal,

i think if you are in between +-300km of the 1000km is still acceptable, i did mine right on the dot 980km, smile.gif

I think its 2 years or 50000km whichever comes first, so its either one anyway. Dont think it makes a difference.

2 year duration is for those people that dont drive too much but still need to periodically do servicing regardless of the mileage, 50000km condition is for those who travel alot thus require more frequent oil change that can be used up within a 1 1/2 year, so its either this or that, to me no difference anyway.

only right to compare between similar price range and current cars, those you mentioned are either way beyond budget or still not out yet, so its pointless to even start comparing now.

QUOTE(SteadyPana @ Jan 14 2011, 12:59 PM)
If compares to Forte 2.0 6 speed and Altis 2.0 Dual vvti ??

Why glaring for you headlamp? This evening rain so heavily and I was forced to turn on both headlamp and foglight, makes a big difference, really helps my vision under those condition, foglight is little glaring but no choice especially going thro roads without proper lighting in sg buloh.

I think its been mentioned before by i-care email reply that if you change your rims and tire size only void the associated parts with the wheel and not the whole car, its based on part by part basis. Logically, how can changing rims will caused power window failure? If your power window fail even you've changed rims, it should be still covered under warranty. Changing the HU will void the clarion warranty, shouldn't be the whole car.

Cant really see how its not aligned from the photo, but I think the green sticker indicates where the problem lies, right? Is it not aligned with the bonnet or the bumper is a little extend upwards compared to the bonnet level?

Well there are too many "contradicting" and "suka hati" interpretation on how one will void and claim warranty. Just have to be mindful if we change the HU as plug and play should not have anything to do with air-con or power window problem in the future as they run on different system. Sometimes if we press hard enough for them to show how a HU can influence the air-con or power window failure then they will realize its got nothing to do with it, just replace the part and get on with life. If you just let them say what they like because its easier for you to pay than for them to claim the cost from HQ, then they will play you out every time.

QUOTE(Neoz @ Jan 15 2011, 10:33 AM)
Just to share abit on the changing of HU against warranty.

A friend of mine last time driving wira.Changed the HU and during the warranty period the window regulator spoiled. When claiming for warranty, the SC said warranty void due to changed HU as its involved a wiring thingy. Ending up have to pay..

bro, you are servicing for the 10000km already?

QUOTE(darkangel7 @ Jan 15 2011, 10:34 AM)
Actually it's on the opposite side from the green stickers. You can see the bonnet and bumper are not aligned. Sorry, taken from iPhone 3 only, so not so clear.

Some people will still have bias perception towards certain brands and all I can say is, if you are happy then who cares what others have to say, yes Proton is far from perfect, but this does not mean Inspira is a lousy car with local parts, we can argue whole day which is better at the end of the day, even a ferrari is cannot say their car is so safe until no one died in them before. I drove a small little kancil for 5 years and I am still alive, so its not the car, its the driver own attitude on the road.
