The best way to use any credit card is to treat it like charge card. That is, to pay in full every month. This way, you will be in control of your finances and they have no way to slaughter you with the ridiculous interests.

I couldn't agree more... rclxms.gif

CIMB got alot of big shots customers... it's not easy to become their "top spenders"

so, have to pray to become their "lucky spender"

Actually it is much easier to be amongst the "top 100 spenders" than to be one of the "100 lucky spenders"  laugh.gif

Erh, sorry to burst your bubble but RM30K will get you no where if you ever do want to hit the top spenders category  rolleyes.gif
*
I agree... 30K/month for CIMB can't even squeeze into top 500 spender... biggrin.gif

I would suggest to keep the card which have highest limit.
At least it's easier to apply other card in the future...
Since you only want to keep 1...

By the way, you reminds me about someone who got removed from the forum lately... Haha..
*
who who who? tinkerbel?

actually I'm still keeping 2 more card above these 3 cards... which carries a very high CL...

citibank should be 1 of the 2. coz its have annual fee (except for choice) tongue.gif

but then, choice rewards is only applicable for block of rm50. swipe rm49.90 wont get anything! sweat.gif

uob and cimb, both free for life (uob with condition). and u need to ask urself which card u nee the features most.

example, if u shop at tesco/giant on sunday only, then stay with cimb (5%).

if u pump at bhp then stay with uob (2%) - assume u on uob one card.

so its up2 notworthy.gif
*
problem is, all 3 card dun really gimme any benifit... only CIMB, i get xtra discount @ starbucks...

Ah ... the illusions of high CL.
Banks are not that stupid to just simply give you high CL just for fun.

Likely to give high CL to customers who they already "know". High CL just to attract new customer ? Unlikely as this seriously undermine the banks risk management practices.
*
I agreee.. u need to stay with the banks for sometimes... they will keep increase ur CL from time to time... biggrin.gif

SCB gave very high CL (double DA's CL) even i'm new to them.

bloody hate this bank...
it's the only bank I hate!
I remember I had their CC 7-8 years ago...
I paid in full every month until one month, november, i still remember... I went travelling... passes due dates like 6 days...
their hound dogs from some company called price solution or watsoever called.. me... I told them I'm @ oversea... will pay when back...
then they kept calling... i refuse to answer coz of roaming fee... after 3-5 missed called, i kenot tahan, then I picked up...
the stupid girl ask me... "can u tell me when will u come back ah?"... I was soo damn pissed off..

the first thing i did when i came back to Malaysia is go to SCB, paid my outstanding and canceled the card... I even canceled my Saving acc...

I will never deal with this bank anymore...
