Guys....
Some question.

Last month Ive bought a Samsung 40' LED tv (Series 5). And now were thinking of getting myself a bluray dvd player.

Is it true if I bought a bluray 3d dvd player, I can watch the dvd in 3d galore eventho my tv is not 3d? If this is wrong (which I thinking) then I need to smack the salesman for telling me false info...

Cheers!
*
U need to get a TV that supports 3D in order to enjoy blu ray in 3D . Cheers

Watching 3D movie without 3D TV but only a 3D glasses?

Old style 3D? or those 3D on PC monitor (I read somewhere else before but didn't complete the whole article)? Would you getting same feeling on it compare with real 3D TV?

----------------------------------------

I believe to prevent confusing, is better mention watching 3D movie is required:

  • 3D capable TV (Projector, Plasma or LED/LCD).
  • 3D Glasses.
  • 3D capable Blu-ray / media player.
  • 3D version BD / digital copy movie.
  • HDMI v1.4 for output 3D source to TV.
** Above is just my though....

----------------------------------------

Anyway, 3D TV / Cinema (or whatever) still stupid for me and useless, only 3D is a WOW! when no 3D glasses is needed.

I just watch it once 3D movie at Cinema for experience the new 3D movie feel, it do cool but stupid.
*
I completely agree that 3D is only awesome when 3D glasses is not needed . I hate wearing those 3D glasses when i go for a 3D movies in cinemas . I wear prescription glasses and it just troublesome with the 3D glasses .

Ya, for those that wear spectacles, it look stupid and uncomfortable for a second glasses on top of it.

Better waiting on glassless 3D Cinema / TV.
*
Thats the reason i stopped going to cinemas to watch 3D movies , the last 3D movie i watched in cinema was Up .

I guess i have to rephrase the question again. Sorry for the "typo" error. What i meant was movies watched in cinema.
The movie was shot using state-of-the-art technology, on the famous RED camera. It's one the best on Blu-ray till date.
*
Ahh , the last movie i watched in the cinemas was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 . I would wait till the 2nd part to be out and get the complete set on Blu-Ray .

Exactly, although the review is quite impressive, it was only made for 3D. The UK release is a Region B Locked. Sigh!

I agree that its a strong Blu-ray 3D release , but it would have been good if it was released in 2D also . Not everyone has embraced the 3D technology.

Superman Ultimate Collector’s Edition Blu-ray Coming Up

Spanish site Zona DVD is reporting that Warner Home Video is preparing the Blu-ray release of Superman Ultimate Collector's Edition, including all the existing Superman movies (Superman: The Movie, Superman II, Superman III, Superman IV: The Quest for Peace and Superman Returns); note that III and IV are new to high-def. The pack will reportedly consist of seven discs, with similar content to that of the standard-definition set released in 2006.

The release date has not been set yet. Although the new Supes movie, Superman: Man of Steel, is slated for theatrical release in December 2012, ZonaDVD states that it is highly likely that this BD set will come out as early as 2011.
