February 27, 2011 is the 83rd Annual Academy Awards presentation , We have to wait till then to find out the winner . I hope The King's Speech , Inception and 127 hours do well . If AR Rahman bags the 2 Oscar then it would be awesome .

Yeah , 2 Oscar in 2009 . Hopefully 2 more this year . Anyways Christopher Nolan was not nominated for Best Director , which is very disappointing .

Hehehe , i have yet to watch it . A few of my friends have watched this movie and they gave a very good review on it .

I just completed reading the entire 7 pages of blu-ray.com thread on Black Swan.

People are comparing Nolan's work with Aronofsky & Fincher's . Also comparison lead to argument on Black Swan vs Inception vs The Social Network vs The King's Speech.
Anyway, overall it was a good review from some of them. I would definitely recommend this to the rest.

Hi, guys, what are the top 10 or 20 must have bluray movies/concerts?

I finally have some time last night to unbox and watch my AMZ blu ray movies received 2 days ago. I first popped in Nolan's Batman Begins, and voila.... the details of 50GB blu ray PQ and AQ really exploded infront of me. (All these while, I had been watching mostly 25GB movies.......)

Can't wait to continue with The Dark Knight tonight........

I am sure u gonna have a blast with The Dark Knight . The Dark Knight was the first blu-ray i bought and its worth every cent i paid for it .

Yes, i am sure i will have a great time watching it. Maybe i will order pizza to go with it .............. !

After seeing and hearing the real stuff myself......., i have to admit it is not worthwhile to get the 25GB copies.
From now onwards, i only want ORIGINAL blu ray all the way !

Which one r? Can share r sifu.. saw alot of it when I was in Hong Kong but didnt ask cuz the sales there 'got those one kind look'.

This one I 1000% get it. (I not sure nice or not the movie but I will get it) haha!

Actually I do watch Pirated b4, so I knew pirated copy vs original.

Pirated BD:

• A lot having huge judder issue. It is damn terrible on judder when scenes rotate / turn around (either from left to right or top to bottom). PQ wise is quite similar, but the judder issue is killing me off.
• Extra features will be cut off if the extra content is long.
• 100% all is 25GB.
• Some Sound track has been change to lower quality format, not the origin track. Example the pirated version I own on Celine Dion - A New Way, they change the sound track and all the extra is missing - that why I get original
• A lot languages subtitle add on, which is far more than original, normally they will add in chinese subtitle, and due to a lot add in but it did not change at menu which means you only can get others subtitle during movie playback. Some subtitle languages is mess up where you choose Eng is not Eng but may come up is Fra and etc.
• Some disc have scenes jumping or recording incorrectly.

So I still support on ORIGINAL BD

** I do buy some movie in pirated / download as I know not worth to get original, example "Piranha 3D"

I'd recommend Josh Groban's Awake Live (Blu Ray).

If you fancy old school rock band, get Rush R30 Blu-ray, Rush "Snakes & Arrows Live" Blu-ray. Don't miss the Big Four Live (Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax) as well.
