Hi every bunnies!
How are you all doing? It has been a while since the last update so let me kick start by updating my babies condition.

1) As i mentioned before my doe rabbit (Fluffy) has been very aggressive, and make sounds like cat whining and always thumps feet. So i brought her to spay. She survived biggrin.gif and initially still as aggressive, but after some time (now already 6 months) she doesnt make any noise, and just thumps feet if she feels insecure, hungry, or need attention.

2) Bunny boy has been spraying urine, and very hamsap too! So i brought him for castration last month. he survived biggrin.gif

I cant wait to bond them, and currently putting my 2 cages near each other. They are fine when in their own cage. But when i set both of them free in the room, they start to pee and poop everywhere and become slightly aggressive and territorial! So i had to caged them again and wait for another bonding session.

Thats all for now. Wishing every bunnies a healthy and happy life.

visit my babies blog here too! http://hahabunny.blogspot.com smile.gif

This is the photo of Bunny right after the castration, his eyes are slightly red but he was eating and drinking.

Hi all, I need some advise as I have no experience with rabbits before. I am currently fostering a rabbit found abandoned in my office carpark. Vet says it has Torticollis & already completed antibiotic course for 2 weeks but neck still twisted. So now undergoing treatment for ear mites. Anyone has experience in taking care of this type of sick rabbit? Your reply would be greatly appreciated. Currently I am keeping her in my doggies playpen but because she can't balance very well she is constantly rolling in pee & poo & I need to clean her & the area 2x a day. Should I get a cage? Hope to hear from you guys soon as I desperately need help. Thanks.

Hi Carol,

Perhaps you can try reading this - http://www.barbibrownsbunnies.com/ecuniculi.htm

I have not had much luck with Wry Neck but have friends successfully help them through it. You will never get 100% recovery though, they will usually show a little sign of wry neck.

Hope it helps and hope she recovers well.

Good luck!

Great news! It's close to a month since I've been fostering the bunny & these past few days somehow she is running around really fast, doing binkies & the rolling over seems to have been greatly reduced. Maybe the methycobal 500 ug which I have been giving her this past week helps.

Hello everybody,

I am sick with worry for my rabbit's well being. I have had Femy for three years, took her in from a rabbit farm when she was about 3-4 months old. She is a house bunny, mainly playing indoors because my housing area lots of stray dogs. I only got one instead of a pair because this is my first time with a rabbit and I didn't think I could handle two with my lack of experience. She's doing well now, occasionally eating less because I have't gotten the time to play with her since I got into college recently. My mom thinks its a torture for her because she's all alone most of the time. I would love to get her a partner but I never actually spayed Femy and I don't think she would be welcoming enough, since I heard some rabbits are territorial.

My problem started when Dad suggested he would give her to the ustaz behind my house. I can imagine what that sir would do.. I've delayed it for a few months already, saying that Femy is sick and can't be moved around so much but in fact I worry what might happen to her if she's taken away. My parents are insisting on this immediately.

I come here with hopes that somebody will be willing to take her in. But I want to know whether this is a good idea before I post this up on the adoption thread. This is by far one of the hardest decision in my life.

Hi guys
2 questions

1) I bought benji's alfalfa hay. Inside the hay there's a lot of bugs like ladybugs can fly. Looks like flea.. Will it all fly to the rabbit and infect them

2) my rabbit not eating any of the hay..
