QUOTE(ben3003 @ Dec 14 2011, 01:28 PM) probably sapuracrest are supplying manpower to the company on some contract i guess. Your case is quite similar as mine weeks ago, SapuraCrest called me for an interview with Shell. at least both in the same industrymeanwhile cypark dont actually involve in O&G, based on their website should i attend the interview or not? |

Did u ask them? she hung up on me during the callthen she emailed me about the interview i responded it n asked what position still got no answer -------------------------------------- (UPDATE) the cypark hr admitted she don't know the relation between sapura n her comp. wtf?! how did my email was sent to her? speaking of PSCs, why did state of Terengganu manage to receive royalties from Petronas?
since that from my understanding concession agreement involve state government. not PSC. or it did? p/s: out of topic a bit here |

QUOTE(clon12 @ Dec 20 2011, 03:09 PM) registering with BEM once u about to practice your engineering in any industry, is a requirement in Malaysia engineering law and practice. IINMhowever some company doesn't really care either u registered with BEM or not it depends on your company eventually but on a safe side, just register it. it doesn't hurt u much |

QUOTE(azraeil @ Dec 20 2011, 03:44 PM) Based on the PDA (Petroleum Development Act) of 1974, each state (other than Sabah & Sarawak) will receive a 5% royalty from petroleum production in lieu of them giving up their rights from the concession (That is why Kelantan is fighting for the Royalty). Sabah & Sarawak receives 10% royalty as pre-condition to joining Malaysia (or something of that sort). then what did they reject the appeal from Kelantan? put aside politicsThe federal government earns income from the PITA (Petroleum Income Tax) which is 38% last I heard (maybe they have reduced it lately) and also the dividen from Petronas which last year amounted to close to 45 billion ringgit. |
