anyone with experience in this could u briefly tell me what to expect??
I know its quite off-engineering question as most replies that I've read are all from engineering background.
trying my luck here as my thread didn't get any response.

QUOTE(ch_teo @ Feb 18 2011, 01:17 PM) am not sure what type of auditor u are referring to. well, I still couldn't dig out yet what scope I will be in.finance or quality system or HSE system auditor or technical engineering auditor? u can learn more on IRCA auditor at here-->IRCA commonly, most of the auditor's job scope covers either in ISO 9001:2008 or ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001 or API auditor (oil & gas) or licensor auditor or etc... you must specify which one you are in. since I will be allocated at the HQ, I think most of my part would be one who deals with finance (my background is accounting anyway). the audit team is quite small, as far as I know. so I afraid that I will be given tasks to cover all sort of things - from finance, quality or even technical engineering audit. would they do that even if I don't have background in those fields? I don't think so because usually engineering auditor should be someone who is qualified and experienced people in the field. |
