I joined back oil gas field and this time with contractor. I'm the only malaysian in the team which consists of korean, aussies, thais, indians, norwagiens and of course singaporeans. Feel quite intimidated as I'm also the only junior here lol

AFAIK, that master course is expensive! You didnt make any networking with your coursemate? Some of them must be coming from the industry.

Try open a Linkedin account. From there you may connect with headhunters/man power services company.

Added on December 17, 2011, 10:30 amFrom what i gather, baker hughes and slb are hiring a lot of people next year.
*
lol slb , applied few times also rejected , need to have good grade for fresh grad.
Hopefully with at least some experience still not too late to join as field eng.

it matters to local companies to bid for local projects IMO.
Cost RM50 only to register..won't hurt.

doesnt matter anyway

as long he/she is a P.Eng and active in the industry
*
erm can be certified by commissioner for oath ? Just saw from the website it also mention commissioner for oath as I don't know anyone with P.Eng status.
Oversea university degree can be registered with BEM as well right ?
thanks

What kaiserwulf meant is that new hires will get 2.7K LESS than previous batches (i.e. if previous batches was getting 6K a month, then the new batch will get 3.7K a month) or something like that (which is still less than Petronas which is surprising).

Even overseas student also not so good lah. I've interviewed several during my time as a manager and I had had to  doh.gif  doh.gif  dua tiga ali also because the kids are so shy, tak confident and surprisingly their communication skill is not so good. Their grades are excellent but when you are trying to get the best, all this things really knocks you down.

Look at the Mat Salleh's, they are confident even though what they are spewing are total rubbish ....
*
This I very much agree ! smile.gif
There are very confident when they speak.
