I'm not sure about the other Big4 but EY does sponsor ACCA for its employees.  The draw back is you must attend classes at Sunway College on the weekends and you have a bond.  Applicants should clarify with the propesctive firm what they sponsor and what are the conditions.
*
For EY, do you know when the bond will officially starts? Let say 4 years bond, so the bond starts when the ACCA classes start?

Thanks..

I see. You should call them up if they dont reply you after 2 weeks. Seeing your situation, you are at a disadvantage as if you do join KPMG in November onwards, you will most likely miss out on the June promotion period (exception is you being fast-tracked) and will only be due next December. The cut-off joining date is October for June promotion. You need to be a minimum of 9 months in the firm in order to be eligible for normal promotion. Fast track is for superstar performers.
*
Hi. Just curious, October cut off that means if join in October, still eligible for June promotion?

Which department in KPMG is the best? How's the pay range for junior and senior associates and how's the claims like?

Wonder if all big 4 are short of staffs now? Coz if they are then they would have replied to applicants promptly logically speaking.

Thank you for valuable your information..

How often do pwc pays bonus? Only in July?

To apply for audit assistant year 2, its considered as experienced hire right? What do the audit juniors called in pwc, audit assistant 1 or audit associate 1?

Thanks for the enlightenment

Dear seniors, how's the working attitude of the juniors nowadays? Do they leave the company after 1-2years? Or do they stay? Do seniors prefer juniors with good working attitude but is only mediocre at work? Overall what do seniors of juniors at work?

Rumour has it that Big 4 will revise the pay for fresh grads/entry level. Anyone can substantiate this?
*
Hey is this true? If entry level is revised, then I thought all levels will be revised too? That was what happened back then.

Some good, some bad. Most leave after 3 years tops. If quality of work and attitude are mutually exclusive, I'd pick attitude any time. Quality of work can be trained, attitude cannot.

Please re-look at the bolded part of your question, cannot understand.
*
Overall what do seniors think of the juniors nowadays and what do seniors expect from juniors? Lol sorry left out was typing in a rush, speaking of quality of work :S and self review.

Actually how does the hiring process work? Its the hiring manager that look at our resume for further consideration or is it at the discretion of HR?

You might try Ernst & Young. Currently, they are recruiting for the assurance and advisory  - ITRA for September intake.
*
Are they still asking ppl for interview now before sept for the sept intake? Are u joining the sept intake?

Is pwc the hardest to enter among the big4s?

What are the requirements the hiring manager wil look at to secure an interview and the job?

Does pwc hr always take quite long to response?

Added on September 12, 2012, 6:32 pmWhich big4 is the most reputable and gives the best salary? I believe workload wise all big4s are hectic..

Thank you for the replies seniors. What I experienced was Pwc is the hardest to get in. I went for interview in EY KP and D, got the job offers from all of them. It is just pwc didn't gotten back to me.

Yet this round, pwc has gotten back to me saying will forward my profile to hiring manager on last tues around 6.30pm. Not sure when will I hear from them again...

Apparently for experienced hire like AA year 2, there's intake for October too...

And this experience make me feel that pwc only hires elites of all elites.

Btw, can seniors tell me more about EUMI? Because pwc hr asked what's my preference and I said that.

Also, how is the claim in pwc like? Cent/km? Mileage claim I heard its from home to client place, and not from office to client place. Please enlighten me if this is true..

A million thanks

Eumi is more to entertainment technology oil n gas industries? Isn't financial services is very specialized too?

Haha then which should I choose? U guys are scaring me.

I just got called for assessment. It consists of numerical and TECHNICAL assessment.

Seniors, how will the TECHNICAL assessment be like? @.@ seems hard. Takkan they will ask transfer pricing thing?

And I thought its only numerical and English test.

Now I'm worried.
