Hi. i need some advice on undertaking my very first engagement as AA2 in PWC. Im taking EUMI to straight specialize in that industry (altho i heard they're gonna put my batch in explorer anyways). so i sent in the form, and I also put in bracket (oil n gas) and some more (shell).

So I asked our job coordinator (Kak Nita) and told her that I really want to do OnG. So she asked me upstream or downstream? I just answered upstream. and she said they prefer those who have finished all their exams and I have done so. and then we talked about Miri Sarawak and i was surprised. I was afraid if I didn't have what it takes.

So even if i finished all my papers already, and I do get to do audit on Shell at Miri, is there anything that should stop me? I'm thinking it will offer a lot of experience for me, but dunno if I would be noob enough to slow the whole team down

Well, most of the employees are only trying to survive for the coming 3 years. anybody who stays after that means they are aiming higher.

I do believe audit is one fast path to becoming rich tho.. but hav to really TAHAN LA.

2 year become senior already 4k

3-4 year become ES should be 5k dy... some even make it to manager in just 4 years and already earning 7-8k.

plus another 2 years as manager already become senior manager.. shud be close to 10k already.. imagine u starting work at 23(like me, but not that i wanna stay long enuf).. by 30 y/o almost 10k already.

but yeah, hav to perform la. but not 100% everything relies on sheer performance. sometimes big4 forgets that their staff turnover is high, thus they promote the small ones fast to take on jobs.

and then, if u choose to quit after senior manager post, imagine how much the industry would pay you to work with them. its all about the moneyyy fuuhh

Nevertheless, Big4 is a good place to work...FOR FREE...

I find myself busting hours and hours even on Saturday Sundays and end up,

with no compensation time given(compensation leave instead of OT),

why? someone needs to jaga their KPI.

Someone needs to keep close watch of the budget

hey guys. one of the Big4s bonus payment is coming end of this month.

I've been around for just 9 months so I dunno how much do they usually pay.

What is the common bonus paid every year? Is it usual to see 2 months bonus? And I heard if its 2 months, then one of those months will only be half becoz they already paid end of april.
