hahaha. i met TAN who is a senior mgr for 19 yrs. u are choosing wic intake? im in august
*
oohh i see biggrin.gif

Well I can't actually choose, but if everything goes well, mines on September.

Are you from the non-accounting background program? A few of the candidates whom I met are mechanical engineers and pharmacists and their intake is on August.

Others from accounting, be it degree or professional are coming in this September. If not that, its gonna be March next year

*
oohh i applied last year. I was surprised when i got the call to attend assessment this year.

oh? i dunno what i recall from Ms Soo Min was, the only recruit dates were september, march, and two other months which i forgot.

so thats why u ask me which one i choose. well just to make it clear, at least for me, this september is the only time for me to get into pwc.

aiya for sure laa.. if pass so wonderful! what did they say about exam results? for me, if fail only then they won't recruit me no matter how good i did for iv.

maybe for you, they still accept you? because u got adv dip? i dont have anything else besides than ACCA sweat.gif

oh i from shah alam biggrin.gif to be exact, i studied in uitm shah alam. what about you?

GODS! so you have a conditional offer? But I think u sure will pass in this sitting.  nod.gif Yup, I am hired as degree graduates. ( although i have only adv diploma)

I am from penang and studied in TAR college. Thus if I manage to pass in this august, I will be treated as ACCA Affiliate.

haha. Thanks dude. But I have failed a few times before sweat.gif

Good for you then! I guess if your iv just now went well, then ok la. No matter what happens, they will still accept you in hopefully!

I see i see. of course you will become affiliate nod.gif

how come so many people talking about august intake is for non-accounting graduates? I have never heard of this cry.gif
*
oohhh, i thought MAY and TAN was a full name icon_idea.gif sori lorh.

eh, dont take my words too seriously dude. Perhaps even if that was the intake for non-accounting, probably it won't affect you in whatsoever way.

Hi, I send my resume to PWC and Ernst and Young two weeks back. And, send my resume to Deloitte and KPMG yesterday.
Totally no reply until now. Do you think i was rejected?
*
hi. just to share with you, I sent my resume to PWC around january early this year and only got reply from them in june.

Just so you know, their earliest recruitment period is this september and after that would be march next year, at least for assurance those dates apply.

don't fret if pwc no reply you, they might call u but maybe will be like my case.

Hi, I'm here to obtain advice. My acca left with 1 paper but 1 of the big 4 offer me with 4years training contract. Is conditional offer, should I accept?
*

4 years contract... furthermore... a TRAINING one... doesn't sound too good.

finish it first laaa... when complete, can work as full fledged accountant already with full-fledged pay brows.gif

hi everyone. I'm entering PwC as of 18th September next month as an audit associate. I would really appreciate any tips and experiences any PwC employee has during their early days notworthy.gif

also, how is PwC really like? busy all year or there are off peak periods as well? That day I went for assessment, i saw this presentation they had, and looks like quite some fun also la.

got events la, sports la, ... anything else I'm missing? I'm really looking forward to working with PwC soon nod.gif just wanna know everything I should know, even the informal info also.

Don't get conned into their presentation. The stuff that you see is the best thing that will happen in PwC and nothing more that will exceed your expectations.

You will be missing the KSP Dinner on 7 Sept though.  biggrin.gif

It is mostly off peak now, though if you're doing Sime, then its peak for you.
*
ohhkayy thats depressing sweat.gif

haha, too bad for me lorrhh
