If 50mm F1.4 D it should be around 1k+ while the G version around 1.8k or so and MB-080 around RM480-499. Got the grip for RM480 last year

Nice, few months back i tried the non HSM version but didnt really like it. Too heavy and big (82mm filter!) . Got quoted for RM2150 without filter . Then tried the tamron equivalent also and didnt like the built quality, feels too cheap so in the end bought the Nikon 24-85mm F2.8-4. Not a constant 2.8 aperture but the built quality really makes me confident to buy it, plus has a macro option so not all that bad

In my experience crappy filter also can cause back focus/front focus. Happens to me when I use my kenko 67mm on the tokina 50-135mm

I've played with the 16mm fisheye lens before and its indeed nice on a full frame body, sharp too . Crop body not so much

Urgh almost had my D90 smashed to the floor using those tripods. Lucky there's the camera strap to save the day because it wrap around the tripod head and prevent it to fall on the floor

But yea i do recommend if you wanna use the supplied lcd protector, put a normal screen protector beneath it to avoid the scratches
