im sory, bt i used to b like d guys u said, bt i'll say everybd nid to start learning frm somewhere?
Most ppl get their 1st flash will thk logically point flash upwards + diffuser dome = non-harsh flash.
Its 1 way of testing flash technics without referring to tutorials or ask ppl, ppl nid to learn frm mistakes.
N imo, bounce high ceiling wif diffuser dome is nt wrong, d effect not bad, jz nt efficient which causes overheat
At least better than direct flash with auto mode giving PnS results
D diffuser dome works in a way like demb diffuser, but instead of reflecting light frontwards, it directs d light 360 degrees around(n up), hence d overpowering flash n cause overheat
Few thgs i thk SB700 is better than SB900:
1. Shortcut switch to change between TTL, manual, GN mode
2. Short cut switch to change between wide, standard, narrow flash coverage
3. Solid different colour diffuser caps intead of colour plastic gel which curls after heavy usage n hard to swap
hah... you have your point... but cannot compare new technology with old technology... just like comparing d300s with d7000.... the newer ones rulezzz.... Most ppl get their 1st flash will thk logically point flash upwards + diffuser dome = non-harsh flash.
