Last time I brake very hard on my car and my bag (back seat) flew and bang the bottle holder :S... the big zip of think tank actually broke my screen protector but my LCD was unscratched. Teehee.
*
lucky you... normally the screen protector alone should be sufficient to withstand the impact... but like my friend... shit happens sometime sweat.gif ...

Yeah! From that time onwards, I always place the zips at the side inside. Before that the zip was directly above the screen. Urban Disguise 35 btw, top loading type of bag.

35mm f/1.8 acceptable just that it isn't that sharp.
I'm getting, by next year !
Next year is fast. 1 more month to go rolleyes.gif
24-70 is not a must if you have 24mm , 35mm , 50mm in that range whistling.gif
add in 50mm f/1.2G flex.gif
50mm f/1.4 is so yesterday. we're waiting for f/1.2
*
yea... but the only thing is need to swap lens... that's the only trade off... it's sweet to have 1.4 though.... brows.gif

Not sure got Nikon brand sd card. The bag is standard from Nikon not sure about the sd card.
The shop either give you 4gb or 8gb, either way, it's very cheap and not much difference. They give class4 only as I know.

My advice is to survey as many shop as possible becuase they give different price and even same shop, the price is different the second time you ask. Some shop very steady, straight give you best offer, 3800 for body only. Some will try to charge you extra 3-5 percent for cc, while some no extra charge at all, all gimmick. Some shop even go to the extend of telling you the price you stated is their cost price which is ridiculous, moreover, another branch of theirs can offer it. Be wise when negotiating.
*
yes there's nikon sd card... got it as package with my d60 last time... smile.gif

I mean something like the flare infront of the model. Sometimes I see yellow/red depends on the lightsource but it's very nice and soft feeling.

What's this technique called and how to do that? Place the model behind a lightsource? In the photo above behind the model there's a strobist flash..
*
those are flare... you'll get them sometimes... depends on luck... and especially when you're shooting in a dark room while sun light's coming in from the window or door... smile.gif

Your friend is correct but he a bit dumb. Range more important or the features / performance ? laugh.gif

obviously... he prefer to go for the name instead of functions... might as well just buy the d300s and use black marker to erase the 00 and become d3 s.... and dont forget to change the view finder and add a battery grip....tongue.gif

SB-900 tend to have problems more laugh.gif especially overheat issue.
Anyway, I guess everything should be fine. Getting at SG with 2.3 conversation rate ?
save about rm 250 if so.

sb900 overheat mainly cause by the battery user use.... mine so far so good... smile.gif

NC is not UV. Nikon UV is marked 37c. Its multicoated, and good, thin ring filter. Its good if you're just using it for protection, but it wont serve the purpose of UV filter which is to cut down on the purplish cast haze on bright sunny days outdoors.
