It was a hard hit actually. The thinktank huge zip actually hit my screen protector until it crack. :S.

But the impact was closer to the side. I think if in the middle also similar case perhaps.

Yeah! From that time onwards, I always place the zips at the side inside. Before that the zip was directly above the screen. Urban Disguise 35 btw, top loading type of bag.

And worse is my D90 de cannot be used on the D700.

The others can find rims and car tim :S. I can only detect those obviously out of focus..

Use bigger value (or smaller sized aperture). eg f/9 instead of f/2.

Haha, you must understand. If I stand 2 meter from subject for both DX and FX. The bokeh is the same! But, the FX will see more than the DX. Meaning to get the same composition, the FX would be standing in front of the DX, which leads to more bokeh.

Good luck. As long as you know where you're pointing and not just spray and pray, you'll be fine. It just takes a lot more effort with a fast lens to get things in focus at the right place. Those spray and pray noobs... no comment la.

Already shot at 1.4 with my D90. I doubt it will be much differences when using FX instead of DX in terms of focusing. Heck even better with the more accurate D700 focusing system.
