Initially thought Darky's was quite interesting with Gingerbread theme....but Doc's now also has Gingerbread theme....so not much difference I guess...

If I want to disable Voodoo lagfix, do I create the Voodoo/ Disable Lagfix folder before or after I flash?

Btw,is it Voodoo/ Disable Lagfix or Voodoo/ Disable-Lagfix?

I see, so between the word disable lagfix should be an "underscore" and NOT "hyphen" or "space".

I tested Doc earlier JPU, like it but hated voodoo and speedmod/SO both crashes with JPU and lagfix performance improvement not so impressive.
Darky's relies heavily on Voodoo so, same story.

If you want everything provided by Samsung, then go with Doc or Darky but use the stock kernel to be safe. If you basic, then go with insanity and then add what is needed as and when you need it.

As for new users, get used to the phone first, upgrade to froyo using KIES and learn about the phone ability. If you linux guys, probably take you a few days to figure out what android is all about and probably come out with your own mod after a week.

question guys..i'm on stock FROYO and speedmod k10c. getting a lot of force close on handcent, whatsapp, pingchat (apps i use the most) and today i got it on phone! and stupid phone kinda hung..

turned it off and on again and it was at the glowing s logo for a long time (like first time boot up on froyo from eclair)

i didn't do any lagfix.. just all the tweaks with speedmod..is the problem with k10c? or i got other issues.

the  flame starts again between Doc and Jim in Doc's last page

LOL... it's always vertical, never horizontal. I chose Darky because only his rom has the closest look to Gingerbread. I don like the greyish notification pull down bar in the gingerbread theme on Doc's page

3. pulldown menu, y the grey thing. lol... not my cup of tea.

I can confirm that you can use Darky's framework on Doc's. I always change modify my own framework.
I also have bad GPS on Darky's but still sticking to it cos it's more responsive than Doc's v3 for me.
