QUOTE(sengasdf @ Dec 9 2010, 04:32 PM) Guys, have a noob question on titanium backup... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...postcount=13593If running batch backup "Backup all user apps", will it backup the app's data as well? Guess I have to install everything that required CWM before switch to stock kernel right? |

QUOTE(Crossover @ Dec 9 2010, 05:01 PM) i think i will download the full ROM instead of this superslim.. dont think that wud be a problem..it only have Launcherpro, and i can't install the ahem version, would like to remove it, but once remove there isnt any launcher anymore... at least full ROM for ADW and Launcherpro... just get ADW from previous version and put it in superslim. then remove LP. once u booted, simply install ehem LP n kick ADW out of it |

QUOTE(gajahwhite @ Dec 9 2010, 05:49 PM) glad i can help QUOTE(Crossover @ Dec 9 2010, 05:55 PM) haha welcome to the family! QUOTE(kmrdeva @ Dec 9 2010, 06:21 PM) Guys, I read that XXJPU has an issue with internal SD mounting. Seems that the firmware shows 3 drives mounted, the external SD, an inaccessible drive, plus the internal SD in read-only mode (as a CDROM). Anyone care to comment on this? never experianced it so far |

QUOTE(KH Cheah @ Dec 11 2010, 12:33 AM) Ok, thnks. Tht was my second option. I oso created a new .tar file which consisted of only zImage from the stock. But I didnt hv a chance to try that as my phone hangs after the 1st attempt. So I flash using stock rom straight away. Will try ur method if I flash to other kernel again. But actually I m happy wth stock kernel as it gives me super fast lock in to gps. Thks anyway. if u want to replace a zImage, put it in ROM (eg: 'update' folder) then it shud be no problem |

On Darkyy's Clean guide :
QUOTE 9. now boot your phone into download mode and then connect your phone to the computer. Once ODIN shows that your phone is connected press the START button in ODIN to flash. DO NOT DISCONNECT THE PHONE. DON'T DO ANYTHING. just let ODIN do everything automatically. Once stock XXJPU has been installed, your phone will reboot itself. when your phone has fully booted, disconnect it from the computer. 10. close ODIN and start it again. this time use CF-Root as PDA. leave everything else blank. make sure "re-partition" is DISABLED this time. 11. Boot your phone into download mode again and connect it to the computer. flash CF-root with ODIN. the CF-Root link he directed is JP6 version.. idk if its gonna work but i suggest u use JPU version instead. if anyone following CLEAN guide n successfully using JP6 CF-root, feedback pls.. yesterday i used JPU version CF-Root n its all good This post has been edited by GreenGoat: Dec 11 2010, 01:28 PM |
