QUOTE(hihihehe @ Dec 7 2010, 08:01 PM) bear in mind that the phone is in factory settings and apps and don have 100+ apps installed.. just like u flash to new firmware then say the firmware is blazingly fast but after few days then different story but i don think nexus s will be using RFS like sgs does some1 has ported it out I believe the claims are valid because nexus s use inand flash memory, not like sgs using sdcard which i think is slower. sdcard is like our harddisk in pc and flash memory is like the ram.

QUOTE(daryl020189 @ Dec 7 2010, 08:33 PM) erm...how to delete a word from the swype dictionary? the tips asked me to highlight then press the swype key to delete but i have no idea how... you need to press twice, then a pop up will come out asking for your confirmation to delete the word.

hey guys. Install "Android Infiltration" from the market. It helps to keep track of android release rollouts..
Nexus S already recorded in the database.

Looks like ext4 is the way to go. Nexus S also uses ext4 file system. No more that stupid RFS file system..

Ok. Just flashed to speedmod k10i 256Hz. Like the new lagfix menu, easily understand. Btw, what is this ext4/3 mount option thingy? I'll go for ext4 all, since this is the direction of Nexus S... This post has been edited by lch78: Dec 8 2010, 06:51 PM

QUOTE(johnleeisme2004 @ Dec 8 2010, 09:24 PM) Does anyone know how to disable voice search in google search bar and bluetooth voice dial and whatsoever function with voice input, for that matter? I find the voice recognition is so darn inaccurate no matter how many times I tried to speak It's not helping at all. I want to get rid of it. I find it pretty darn accurate and plus it has multi-language support. maybe u need to change the language voice input settings there are several versions of english (if you are using english). I find that english(UK) is not my preference as it always hear me wrongly. english(US) is my cup of tea. Even cantonese voice input is so accurate it can find all my songs and searches...

QUOTE(maba_ar @ Dec 10 2010, 07:32 AM) Wanna ask, maybe a noob, question here. Currently in freaking old Eclair and planning to flash to Froyo XXJPU. I rooted my SGS btw. Do i need to unroot the phone first before flashing or just let it be coz i read in XDA forum saying that fw flashing will also wipe the root? No need. But you can unroot it first to feel safe, afterall unroot is easy process..
