Damn.. cannot download for at least 24 hours - google doc quota reached for 'SpeedMod K10E with HZ=256 CWM' at hardcore's blog and the file's not listed on the first page of the speedmod thread, Anyone care to share their copy?

morning people! today i'm goina start testing the battery life after flashing to k10e.. monitoring starts at 7.30am.. let see how long can it last..

turn off ur phone (and wait 30 secs for fully shut down)..
then press & hold this 3 button at the same time..
turn on button + home button + volume up button..

then ur phone should turn on and turn into CWM mode..
then u may unhold all those button..
then move to "Speedmode" menu by pressing volume up/down.. and to select the menu just press the home button..
then inside there.. u'll see a "tweak" menu.. select it then..
then inside "tweak" will have 5 option if not mistaken.. then enable it 1 by 1..

aiyoo.. so many "then" la.. haha

Added on December 4, 2010, 8:57 amIt's the graphics chips and the shortfall of the rendering algorithm (deferred rendering) of PowerVR.

Back then (10 years+ ago), there were heated battles of the 3D cards and PowerVR was 1 of the great contender. With a slower processor, claiming to have equal, if not better, performance than the market leader, 3Dfx's Voodoo (sounds familiar?).

After you get to understand how PowerVR renders a scene, you'll understand why it has this "bug", or shortfall.

Flashed to k10e cool 256hz, dont see any color changes haha. But the smoothcnees indeed is there!! Even without tweak enabled. Now need to see if this kernel drink a lot of battery juice...

Added on December 4, 2010, 10:00 amI think the cheapest price right now is maxis package. But you need to sign a contract. But if you don't need the contract, you can cancel it for RM500 (if I m not mistaken). So do your calculation.

Whn I was using trial papago, I had problem locking in, too. I tested wth gps status n it took ages to lock in. Even whn lock in the tracking was laggy n off. I cant explain why whn I change papago version everything falls into place. It is so perfect now, I was reluctant to upgrade to froyo as I was worried it would screw up again. Now, wth froyo, it can detect even indoor. The only thing I did previously was dl gps optimization for sgs fr android market. But I dont think that help, as it was still temperamental then. Hwever, 3 days ago when I was doing some test indoor, I found tht if u switch on gps status app fr (android market), it strengthen the signal so much so tht I can detect signal whn indoors ( evn whn I was eclair then).
