Oh that's awesome. Thanks buddy
@rattan - you on RCMix or LeeDroid and running 1200? Battery will definitely die faster but the heat also is bad… or maybe mine has a faulty motherboard already…
And flash back of DOS and IRC with Undernet??? haha.. I am still on this broken down Apple IIe..
@cristiano7mu - what ROM are you on, bro? On LeeDroid also?
@mousqy - you can try the first page of this thread. That is as friendly as it gets and the sifus here are always ever willing to help…
@microbe - yes the Sense was designed to provide ease of use. If rooted, as the sifus said, you can still go for Sense based ROMs. Then again, the functionality of Sense was developed by third party apps that provided those functions initially or developed as after thought. So you still can get close to Sense.
@nurul_adik - try checking your configuration in not just Settings but also the Message app. What part of the Phone Memory do you want to copy?
p.s. On to Gingerbread

I was down with flu and fever since last friday. Bedridden but good thing is I get to spend with the Desire and flashed the Gingerbreads.
I first went with AdamG's Oxygen. Flashing was smooth. The performance, at least to me, is faster and smoother than froyo. Booting up after flashing was quicker. Footprint for the system is definitely smaller as only critical apps were included. Didn't experience FCs on the included apps but when I loaded my usual apps, some hit FCs. Especially those that controls or changes system config. The worst part of it was that the Radio is somehow not working well. Always having DCs. Even tried older versions but still the same effect. Otherwise, it was fast… noticeably.
Then, I flashed Richard's GingerVillain. Even better, as the rotating Desire I had during booting was rotating smooth and fast. Once loaded, everything was as expected also in terms of the smoothness of it handling the animations and scrolling was flawless. Again, I hit the same issue with the Radio. No matter what I do, it only shows G or 3G. I couldn't get H and connection was bad. After trying out different versions of Radio, I decided to try something different. Flashed the 0.2 SVS with BFS and after rebooting, the connection works…. although it still registers 3G. So since yesterday morning, I have been running GingerVillian and has since slap on the LauncherPro on top. It has been running fine. As with the Oxygen also, most of the widgets that handles the switches, I cannot get the ROMs to recognize.
All in all, one thing that I noticed is that the battery usage is quite good. I have gone straight with Wifi Hotspot and Data full for the last 2 and a half hours and the battery is still at 92%. Forgot to mention that the Android keyboard is much more accurate. That's it till today, guys.
