hmm, I did notice that there is a slight delay sometimes when I'm waking the phone up using the trackball

about the power control widget, the other two is Sync, and GPS
when you don't want your phone to do auto syncing in the background, then you disable it, it can help save battery

another widget that is a good power control widget replacement is the SwitchPro widget,
you can try it

about the app for watching movie, why don't you go ask the shop guy and share with us all

none of video file format that I have trouble playing so far, the width x height is 800X480

not very sure about this, but it should be AVI with DivX and Xvid codec

never tried that before so no idea about it,

rooting only allow you to have total control of your phone, it does not mean automatically means you will have app2SD,
it depends on the ROM you're on, most Android 2.2 Froyo ROM will have app2SD,
and even if you have app2SD, it doesn't mean everything will be saved to SD card,
there are still things that needs to be saved into the internal ROM, such as small part of an app, widgets, system files, etc.

yes, you will stay with the same ROM as long as you did not flash any other ROM

there are plenty of ROM out there, best ROM depends on your personal taste
if you're new, try LeeDroid, AuraxTSense first, since they're sense ROM they don't differ much from the stock ROM

if you prefer stock ROM, try flashing AuraxTSense, I think you'll like it

if not, then how are you going into recovery?

did you made sure that your phone is rooted already before going to step 3A?

did you try booting up your phone and check if there an app called superuser? if you have then you're rooted already.

if don't have means your set is SLCD set,
if you buy new set just recently most probably its SLCD set

the save states does not work, you'll have to load from "memory card"

iinm I've seen someone complaining about RCmix 0.13 having lag as well in the xda thread

I don't think anyone can predict the release date exactly
but dual core phones are sure to be coming out next year

2.2.7 only adds supports for Android 2.1, besides that no difference compared to 2.2.6
