i think what he mean is daily pivot. that's why you use Daily Candle. if you want to plot weekly pivot, use weekly candle. if you're super scalping 1M, and want to plot hourly pivot, you use 1H candle data to calculate the pivot.

Goto Daily Chart .. Just use the last completed daily candle ... dont worry bout sessions ..

luqmanz, if you're free please attach this indicator to see whether the pivot points drawn similar to yours or not.

Just paste it into MT4>Experts>Indicators> , restart your MT4 and paste it on your chart

using babypips pivot calculator =

my pp = 1.5883 ( same as yours)
r1 = 1.594, r2 = 1.6024, r3 = 1.6081
s1 = 1.5798, s2=1.5742, s3 = 1.5657 ( slight difference)

hope the difference wont effect much

Which currency active during that time ? Mine is USD

Between this : EURUSD / GBPUSD / USDCAD / USDCHF / USDJPY

Sorry for my late update on my trading


my patience has been paid off :-)

all my trades has turned to +ve after several days holding it ...there's one time where all my position are -ve and holding more than -1000 dollars

after some countertrades and opened additional trades for making some profit during bearish mode , i managed to turn it into profitable trades

as i'm waiting for next monthly chart after this , i'm still positive to trade all pairs below with buy trade
