@jensen_tidus well, I remember MacAsia (now closed down) charging for instalment payments back in 2005.
always ask first, and call your bank as well to find out if they can convert it to easy payments, without involving the merchant. |

Whether or not the installment involves the merchant or not, the interest rate should be about the same, right?

Just pay one lam sum la. Easier. If you pay by installment, you're paying more than the exact amount. Choose wisely.

Of course everyone prefer to pay lump sum . He is short of cash. And nowadays got some many 0% interest instalment by bank, so why pay lump sum? |

I was pointing out to Machines/Epicentre those Apple Premium Resellers that will be charging 4% interest. If he could find any store offer 0% installment, why not? |

I went to Courts Mammoth to try to buy Ipad 2 but there were no stock except for 64 gig ones and that too can only get from Setapak branch. If I want it at Klang branch I had to wait 2 to 3 weeks for them to send it there.
I then went to Harvey Norman at Bkt Tinggi Jaya Jusco and bought a 32gb one at RM1799 + 3% for 12 mths 0% EPP. Sales girl wanted to sell me extra 2 yrs warranty at RM250+, I did not take the extra warranty. Only left black model no choice die die hv to take lor. But the best part is the software is 4.3.3. But I see my bro and niece upgrade theirs to IOS 5 with many other functions, I now don't know want to JB my Ipad2 or upgrade it to IOS 5? |

I've just done it with my Hong Leong Bank credit card.
They charge you on 2.99% interest per annum, depend u want installment for 6, 12, 24 or 36 months. One thing you need to know, this is not installment from any reseller store, it's applied by you by calling to credit card customer service AFTER you swipe it. It takes 3-5 days of floating period before the process is done. Very easy, after swipe, call them up and says u wanna make the latest swipe to easy installment(HLBB call it Flexy Payment), and you can now rest your head on pillow. Whoever using HLBB, i got a contact from the CS there that does give great service and extended support. Just ring her up and everything is done. Peace |

QUOTE(suntzulee @ Oct 25 2011, 09:22 PM) I'm not sure lor cos when I bought it, it was still in the shipping box (brown colour box), Harvey Norman do not do anything to it, you pay and they hand the box to you. I had to go back and sync to itunes myself to activate the Ipad. Why not call to Harvey Norman and ask whether they still have stock? |

QUOTE(one1002 @ Aug 30 2011, 02:38 PM) ok..i've finally bought the imac at senQ gurney plaza..they are the authorized dealer for apple product.. i bought my new iMac 21.5" last august...go to senQ shops that are authorized dealer for Apple products..monthly payment (36months) = rm120++..i bought with trackpad, and wired keyboard..plus extended warranty.. =D for my iMac, cost about rm4000++ including accessories and extended warranty..so, for 36months..cost me rm120++/month.. affordable or not, worth it or not..you decide..don't listen to others..it'll just make you even more confused.. for the ipad..i am not sure if they offer 36months installments..perhaps you should ask them and give feedback here in the forum..if the ipad you are buying cost rm2000, for 36months installment..rm55.55.... again..it's up to you whether to buy lum sum or installment..for me..i don't have the cash to fork out let alone rm4000 in a time..even if i can..i'd probably cannot buy anything else if i spend a total of rm4000 cash on the iMac.. =) |
