QUOTE(0168257061 @ Apr 2 2011, 01:49 PM) Not trying to defence but trying to correct some Noob who don't even know how to choose mouse properly Different individual will have a different point of view and sometimes also affected by personal experience. If someone buys a Razer product for the first time and have a very bad experience it, high change he/she will be cursing Razer.[attachmentid=2130773] |

QUOTE(stalkerrox @ Apr 3 2011, 01:12 AM) after owning abbysus and DA i finally bought mamba today... Not really, better companion would be either the Scarab or Ironclad if you don't want to consider cloth surface.never regret buying it even tho it cost rm 400 for just a mouse LOL.. btw anyone using mamba + megasoma? for playing games like dota/hon im using golliathus now but the cloth at the btm are coming out... is megasoma a good mouse pad? |

QUOTE(d3smoond @ Apr 4 2011, 04:37 PM) the warrantly claim if i buy razer stuff at pc fair isit troublesome? If it's really from a Razer booth then should be from Ban Leong, if so then you'll have to deal directly with Ban Leong for any warranty claims. If it's from a dealer (you'll know it from the receipt given), then claim the warranty from the dealer you bought from. month ago i went there to purchase some stuff saw razer mako but nt sure whether it is selling or nt |

QUOTE(168257061 @ Apr 4 2011, 09:22 PM) to me the scarab surface, just like the control side of the eXactmat, but with a lot more "sandy-alike-texture" on the surface. I think the Scarab is quite bang for bucks compared to the Ironclad if you don't really need a large surface also. The Scarab also comes with a decent casing and it looks classy enough to be a companion for your high-end mouse. But the glide is still very smooth, smoother than the eXactmat speed side a lot. also I like its size, being 350mm x 270mm mouse pad is very ideal for me to short-medium range swipe |

QUOTE(skyliner66 @ Apr 5 2011, 12:27 AM) What was the problem with it? Completely dead? QUOTE(giggsyy @ Apr 5 2011, 12:35 AM) Distributors can always decide if they would like to set up a booth and make an appearance at a certain event. Of course some factors they look at is their budget and if it'll be worth it or not. Perhaps they are planning something big? |

QUOTE(Justeafy @ Apr 7 2011, 12:34 PM) Can't say that it's bad, just depends on luck. However, can't deny that the warranty claim rate is quite high compared to other gaming brands. As for warranty problems, there isn't actually. It's just that if you're an end-user, all warranty claims must go through the dealer/seller you bought from, you can't bring it back to the distributor directly for warranty claims. |

QUOTE(Justeafy @ Apr 7 2011, 12:45 PM) just curious, if its based on luck why do so many ppl buy razer? Some people are attracted to Razer's design and how they 'bling' up their products with nice packaging and catchy description while most brands don't often focus on their design. Take the Razer BlackWidow Ultimate for example, how often do you find a mechanical keyboard with keys that have a backlight?cuz i was considering buying a razer mouse but after seeing many ppl complain on this forum, feel reluctant... |

QUOTE(TechnoG @ Apr 7 2011, 08:34 PM) Speed = FPS However I prefer control for my FPS games. Quite subjective but yes majority of FPS gamers choose speed. Control = RPG, MMO RTS etc. You as a FPS gamer should know, you need fast movement right? Fragged edition or non-Fragged edition, you decide yourself |

QUOTE(Vigilant @ Apr 8 2011, 09:11 AM) I had to choose Razer over other brands because of the blue LED backlit and black theme for the peripherals. For mouse I feel Mamba & Deathadder are quite comfortable. The tech specs offered by Razer is also top notch. Logitech's branding/message to the end-users for their gaming peripherals doesn't convey much of an "ultimate gaming accessory" perception and I think this is where they lose out despite having decent performance and quality. Razer's marketing/sales strategy is too good in my opinion. However Razer product are quite bad in quality. They should do much better since their products aren't cheap. The aesthetic look will deterioriate after a month of heavy usage. Not to mention 1 out of 5 Razer product I had, will have techncal problem out of the box or after certain length of period using it. For me in term of quality build and not overpriced gaming peripheral, Logitech is an ideal choice. Steelseries is also one of the favourites, but the price is expensive anyway. |

QUOTE(nickycheong @ Apr 11 2011, 11:07 AM) Just a quick update for you guys on my Razer Black Widow Ultimate after having used it for four months. It should be noted that the stuff I use my keyboard for would include games that I play such as Starcraft 2 and COD Black Ops, as well typing out assignments. For point number 1, I think it's quite a common problem unless the user isn't really sensitive to the sound then he/she might not notice the inconsistency. These are just some of the issues that have been raised while browsing through this thread every so often that I would like to address. 1. Certain keys do not reproduce that consistent "click" sound as compared to other keys. After having used my unit daily for four months, I can safely say that this has not been an issue for me. The blue switches still feel amazing to type on. 2. Keycaps wear and tear The keycaps on my model still look pretty good. There has not been any signs of fading or wear on any of the keys. (even the WASD keys which I use on a regular basis) 3. Fingerprints Well I think this is a given, as the gloss plastic that goes around the keyboard does prove to be a fingerprint magnet, especially for people with sweaty hands or particularly oily skin. One thing that should also be noted is that if you have oily fingers, or you've just touched your face and then started typing on your keyboard, you'll notice that the oil residue can sometimes show on the top of the keycaps. That being said, this problem can easily be resolved by simply wiping down the keyboard every so often with a microfibre cloth and it'll be good as new. 4. Ports The ports on the side of the keyboard have not given me any issues from day one. The one that I would use on most occasions would be the headphone jack, and it has been a huge convenience for me every since I started using it, not compromising any sound quality whatsoever. 5. Backlight Honestly, I think there is a certain class to the keyboard with its piano-black glossy finish. And this class is accented even more when the backlit keys are turned off. Maybe it's just a personal preference. But I haven't found myself using the backlit keys as often as I would. That being said, it's always nice to have that option available if I ever need it. And after a lot of daily typing on this keyboard, I must say that this has not caused any harm to the lights underneath the keycaps. The "gamer-blue" glow that Razer is so popularly known for shines through as good as any other Razer product. I hope this quick review/update would have been of help to some of you out there who are still holding out or deciding if the Razer Black Widow Ultimate is the right keyboard for you. That being said, it's always best to get your hands on one and actually feel what typing on this badboy is like. As for me, I have no regrets whatsoever for picking it up! |

Well the Onza is decently priced so that would probably be a hit.

QUOTE(Everdying @ Apr 12 2011, 11:33 AM) proclick mobile last price i recall was around rm150+... I guess they decided to pass on this round's PC Fair as some of the new products might not be ready by then plus they recently just finished their annual stock take session so probably they might be sorting some stuff out as well.im guessing those shops that still have stock have old price. and this month no ban leong booth in pc fair...better just go get from one of the sellers in garage sales here. |

QUOTE(defaultname365 @ Apr 12 2011, 06:39 PM) I'm thinking of getting the "ultimate" gaming accessories. Actually it's all up to you. If you think that your i3 is good enough and you'll benefit from better gaming gears then get the full set. If your processor is weak to you and you need an upgrade for it then better you get a more powerful processor first.Razer Mamba + Razer Ironclad + Razer BlackWidow Ultimate would set me back at a staggering +- RM970 ... which is more worth it, an upgrade to an i7 processor (from i3) OR getting these three? |
