I guess the new products will hit many retailers by today, just that the bigger retailers might need some time to key in the stocks to their system so if those who would like to see it at the big retailers in LYP or Digital Mall, should only try to see either tomorrow or 2 days later.

Ironclad just arrived, the overall packaging with the box is heavier than I expected. The Scarab is pretty light though.

QUOTE(168257061 @ Mar 19 2011, 04:17 PM) Just collected my parcel today and open the spoiler to see images So you couldn't wait and self-collected it eh? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « The scarab surface is really really smooth. The surface is more a like eXactmat control surface but with finer sand-touching-feel. Compared to goliathus speed edition, this hard type mat gave the mouse glide way smoother than the cloth type mat by significant result. On the other hand, the scarab rubber base grip is really great for hardcore gaming despite the strong force to move the pad, it doesn't at all Aside from the mouse pad, I really like the carrying case. Its kinda nice to act as your document holder One thing I don't really like is the price, it's quite expensive for a gaming mat. Not to say ironclad and other brand as well. But if one has got much budget for a hard type gaming mat, I think scarab is a nice choice for you. Do consider Ironclad as well as it has got quite a lot of good review out there. Nice, the Scarab looks sleek on your table. |

QUOTE(doremon @ Mar 25 2011, 02:40 PM) Guys2, need opinion on Razer Ferox. Planning to get it today at lowyat plaza. I always listen to jazz songs. If you're looking forward to use it as your main multimedia speakers then I would suggest you to consider other speakers. However if you would want it to replace your laptop speakers or for portability use (such as using it to connect to a mobile device like a mp3 player) then yes the Razer Ferox will be a good companion. |

QUOTE(doremon @ Mar 25 2011, 03:36 PM) Boss, I already have Razer Mako 2.1 but that device I use it as my movie surround system. Now seek for laptop simple sound system. I started to fall in love with Razer since I got Razer Mako 2.1. It really blow my mind into pieces The Mako is a true 2.1 multimedia speakers, you can't expect much from Ferox if you want to compare it with multimedia speakers. Now thinking getting the Razer Ferox but heard lots of negative comment about it. How true is this |

QUOTE(selinix @ Mar 25 2011, 02:08 PM) Yes... partially red..Ban Leong Company name is printed in red with their logo in red too Yup then that's the service receipt so would be safe to say that yes it was indeed sent back to Ban Leong.Added on March 25, 2011, 2:17 pm I won't say their service is good because as usual I think the mouse already arrive back in their store 1 - 2 weeks back but they don't bother contacting me to inform me about it as I can see in the Ban Leong service receipt that it is actually issued on 8th of March. I'm pretty sure the mouse actually reach Ban Leong unless this whole service receipt that I'm having is fake? The thundermatch guy told me that they won't charge me any service fee because there is nothing that is fix and very sorry for it because they really just collect it accordingly from Ban Leong people and the technician approved that it is tested okay as written in the Service Receipt. Thundermatch people are speechless too when I test the mouse right in front of them and show them what the Ban Leong technician claimed "TESTED OK". All he say is ask me to take back to Ban Leong myself and deal directly with them. Now who going to give me back my petrol/parking & my 3 months? |

QUOTE(mxiii @ Mar 27 2011, 10:34 PM) Well Razer definitely had some marketing strategies there to not sell the mousepad alone. They do sell the mouse alone though, but the local distributor isn't bringing in just the mouse alone yet.QUOTE(giggsyy @ Mar 27 2011, 11:51 PM) Mako not certified by THX, its collaboration with THX..tts why the price so wow.. Ferox not certified..if certified, i also wow... QUOTE(j.sun @ Mar 28 2011, 01:49 AM) I dunno how true the specification on the razerzone.com but it's written there THX-certified quality and performance. Can check the specification here Well if it isn't THX-certified then by right Razer is not allowed to use the THX logo. |

About claiming warranty directly from Ban Leong, I think it's doable but they have to improve their system first. My speculations on why they insist on end-users to bring it back to the shop/dealer (again I repeat this is just my speculation) is probably to keep things more organized.
It'll be easier for them to keep track of all RMA status at the moment since all RMA cases will be generated under the shop/dealer account with Ban Leong. If they were to accept RMA cases directly from the end-users, I think it will cause more complications since they have to keep a good track/record of the end-users' database and follow-up with them whenever the warranty procedures are done. How they do it now is that the shop/dealer will send it back to them for warranty and once done, they will just automatically send it back to the shop/dealer without the need of calling the shop/dealer to inform anything or what. Perhaps if they have a better RMA case system, they might just be able to accommodate/accept RMA cases directly from end-users. |
