Reviews and previews are in!
http://www.mobilecrunch.com/2011/01/28/iph...ity-comparison/ This the 2nd time i've read that video recording performance of the 2X is below par in terms of clarity and color reproduction. Retail unit walkthrough: http://androidcommunity.com/lg-optimus-2x-...ds-on-20110128/ lol PhoneArena has a bunch of Optimus 2X related review videos already. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSuRwn1RBPM This post has been edited by DJFoo000: Jan 29 2011, 01:48 PM |

Those who bought the latest single core 1GHz phones today will be skipping the dual core generation in place for the 4X gen instead.
That'll be 2nd half of next year. |

xperia play is damn FUGLY!
Added on February 8, 2011, 11:05 amindeed is quite worrying from engadget: QUOTE UI responsiveness on the 2X can be described as mediocre, which we find a mind-boggling development as the hardware is certainly fast enough. It's important to note that applications load up as fast or faster than most other Android handsets we've come across, it's just that navigating to them and through the 2X's menus didn't feel as snappy as we would have liked. QUOTE Neat little tweaks to Android's default interface failed to obscure the fact that the Optimus 2X is neither as responsive nor as stable as it should be. You might be able to rectify those flaws by installing one of the inevitable avalanche of custom ROMs that this device will benefit from, but we're here to review LG's own performance and we find the failure to deliver a reliable platform inexcusable. Nub LG should've stuck with stock froyo instead of laggy UI for the 2X instead.

not worried about the UI and the lags. all that i care i raw hardware performance, software optimization can come later. leave that to the devs~
