DHD with it's 8mp camera produces shitty picture.

it's not about megapixel, they are just resolutions. although by right higher megapixel camera suppose to take sharper picture, but one of the most important element for better image is the lens. and you can put money on manufacturer like sony and samsung to have the best lens among android devices. just not LG.

I've tried my officemate's lg just now and it is definitely a contender to Atrix. i said contender because both has their own advantages..

this is what i got so far, for 10 mins playing with the LG..

- LG has better and nicer color, but for text (especially web browsing), Atrix is sharper.
- LG is supposed to be just few grams heavier than Atrix, but in reality i feel LG is a lil at the heavy site.
- LG speaker is not as nice as Atrix. too soft and a bit koyak when play at max volume. Havent test on earphone yet
- LG camera has more details than Atrix and the color profile is a bit darker than Atrix which for me looks better than Atrix natural color.
- video camera is around the same when playback on hp. have to connect to LCD TV to differentiate them.
- LG supports more format for vids playback than Atrix. but both cant play 1080p vids.
- the build quality, i prefer Atrix. Slimmer and Lighter. again, this is personal preference.
- Atrix is snappier and way smoother than LG. LG reminds me a lot to Samsung Galaxy S. and the Atrix i compared has been used for 2 weeks while the LG is less than a day old..

hmm. dual cores doesn't really gives any significant benefits in performance, except in benchies.

i really doubt it will be rm1799. like benny said, the reason they remove it must because of the marketing team / web content developer put it wrongly there..

but there's no harm to keep on dreaming.lol!

battery drains fast is normal in android. tell me one high end android phone that allows u to surf 3g, youtube, play games and can last a day.. i've played with more than 10 android devices and i've never found one that can last long enuff under heavy usage.

this is one of the thing where iPhone is better than Android.
