just went to blitzone KBU. its fantastic, blitzone did a great job in infrastructures. fast speed, good monitor, good hardware and its clean, good chair, very bright and feels safe.

smtg to b**** about is the inability of foreign workers to speak english/malay. noe 1-100 and count money only. cant answer simple questions.

To us IT oriented... Of course its simple, for them who come from other country to here, what they have in their mind is "will work for money", u must understand that myammar foreigner worker come here work 3 years, can go back his country live 50+ years already, inclusive of building your own bungalow.

Hi there ladies and gents!

The current total of players for 1v1 is:

30 of 32
An email has been sent out to registrating parties. If you did not receive an email, do resend an application ASAP following the methods shown on page 1.

The current total of teams for 2v2 is:

8 of 16 (3 reservations)
An email has been sent to team leaders (registration emails) for confirmation. Please submit your details as soon as possible.
If 2v2 does not reach its capacity again (16 of 16 - last tournament it was 14 of 16) we may drop this segment in upcoming events.

As per Brian's last update, we have decided to drop the 2vs2 tournament due to lack of participants. With only six teams registered, we shall instead focus on the 1vs1 tournament instead.

for public transport, its very inconvenient especially for those not familiar with bandar utama.

theres NO LRT.

the only 2 bus stops near kbu are 1 on sprint highway and 1 beside one utama shopping centre.

the one on 1u is very easy to go to kbu as its only a str8 road to kbu but its about 3km away. (wtfbbq for a nerd with weak legs) rapid u88 and metro 99 stops at 1u.

another one is relatively nearer (metro 99, rapid u88), less than 1km away which is the sprint highway but its very complicated to go. very very complicated. its just next to SMK DJ, u will be dropped under a fly over at sprint highway, station called kayu ara. u need to walk along the highway upwards and then turn right, kbu is on your left. google map for more info.

Not gonna increase the slots as it wouldnt be fair to the players that registered early. As per stated in the first post, its on a first come first serve basis. Better luck next time =)

====================

A final confirmation of registrations should be done by today (15th Dec 2010) and shortlisted participants will be informed via email. cl_excuses 101 of emailing into the wrong address will not be entertained. If you cant even get an email address right, taking part in a SC2 tourney will be the least of your problems.

As for the schedule and fixtures, we've decided that we'll stick to the current tournament format (SE, BO3) and will seed players based on the last tourney's results. All players should come in the morning to finalize your registration and for the bracket draw.

The next tourney, I'll change things up and go for either DE or Round Robin and spread the tourney out over two days, since in all likelihood, we will no longer be running 2vs2 tourneys anymore.

I cannot stress how important your continued participation for our tournaments is. Even if you're not participating, you'll get to mingle with the SC2 community and learn some new tricks watching other players play live. As long as there are the numbers, we can present it to our sponsors, so that we can have more SC2 tourneys.

Hi guys!

The 1v1 slots have been filled and there is a short waiting list of 5 contestants. From prior experience, (last tourney) 8 registered players did not turn up. So its highly likely that you'll be able to play even if youre on the waiting list. Do be reminded that you need to be on location to be given the slots as a waiting list participant.

Players whom received the confirmation email previously are confirmed participants.

I also noticed the issue where players registered multiple players in a single email and for multiple events. Under no circumstance should a player register for separate events using the same message. An email for each event should be sent. I made some exceptions for early registrations, but this shouldnt happen.

The reason these emails should be separate is to ease the calculation and data collection during the registration phase. It also helps sorting and replying since everything is done manually. Receiving 32 unique emails should mean 32 different players have registered for 1v1, not 33. (example)

Anyway, since its in email form, the dates of registrations are recorded, so i can check if there are any issues. A reminder will be sent on thursday to all participants.

Thank you!
