for me it depends on the type of central defenders that they face..last week, we used McLoven against defenders who was a similar size to him so we used his pace running in behind the defenders to outdo them..

Ameobi should be used against tall strong build defenders..i remember against Fulham, McLoven was used againts Hangerland and he was easily bullied..Ameobi would give u the strength and power and McLoven would give u the pace and mobility..

who have Liverpool got as defenders for Saturday? I suspect Kyrgiakos and Skrtel..both strong men in the air but I think Carroll can be a handful for them so its between Ameobi and McLoven..if Nolan plays, I would go with Ameobi..

i wanna see Leon Best get a run out maybe as a substitute..hoping he can do a Bobby Zamora..shit one season, brilliant the next..he's got power and pace..if he can do better than Ameobi, then he should get his chance..

MATCHDAY REMINDER: 11 DECEMBER 2010 (12 DECEMBER 2010 MALAYSIAN TIME)
NEWCASTLE UNITED VS LIVERPOOL
ASTRO SUPERSPORT 3 (CH817) & SUPERSPORT HD (CH831)
1.30 am LIVE

Early team news for Liverpool is that Steven Gerrard will miss the game..huge relief as he could have single handedly kill us..so lets just get back on the training pitch and prepare for Torres and also figure out a way to breakthrough the Liverpool team..

absolutely gutted with Pardew...experience??what experience??

so far throughout the season i thought we were doing well, i'll gladly take mid table mediocrity, we were getting points where we shouldn't be getting and loosing points where we shouldn't be so that balances out

call me pessimistic but now theres a very real prospect of us going down with the shit head involved and appointing another shit head, unnecessary tensions, players revolting, dressing room unrest

really worry for the future

lets see how's attacking positive football will deploy.
sacking CH at this crucial time will let our player's morale rapidly down.

does guthrie really injured? or he fake it to cover his blunder lol.

Newcastle United Players Revolt Over Chris Hughton's Exit & Alan Pardew's Appointment - Report

Newcastle United players are believed to have revolted over the sacking of former manager Chris Hughton and the subsequent appointment of Alan Pardew.

Hughton initially took charge of the club's affairs when the Tyneside outfit were relegated into the Championship, but guided them to an instant promotion to return to the Premier League.

And despite having taken the club to a respectable mid-table position, the gaffer was shown the door after a winless run stretched to five games.

And Pardew's recent appointment - on a five-and-a-half year deal - is thought to have irked the players, as The Mirror reports that they had a showdown meeting with the club's managing director Derek Llambias.

It is claimed that voices were raised during the discussion, which saw the players accusing the club of appointing a "yes man".

Pardew is thought to have held a meeting with skipper Kevin Nolan in an effort to put a stop to damage caused by the dressing room unrest.
