I thought you are also having the problem when you lock the phone, the screen will stay light up and never turn off

I was the first followed by some others
I wanna do a manual/guide to temporarily fix it but if can I'm hoping can get some screen snap of it

can you take a picture of the screen after it's locked and send it to me?
There is a few temporary fix for this
Try remove all widget from your homescreen then off it for 5 minutes and start the phone again
After that do tell me how is it

The defect is only 5% thus it actually really depends on your luck
There might be some minor glitch here and there but the major issue such as dead N8 is rare
Currently I've used my N8 for a month or so now and I do not experience any major issues yet
Rather the longer I use it, the smoother my N8 became

If you do not wish to test your luck then i would suggest you to wait but i won't know how long you need to wait
And if you are asking about 2nd batch, there is no way to determine when or which phone is 2nd batch
So ask yourself first whether do you need this phone urgently?

My BH505 battery officially drained yesterday night.
Which made it 1 whole week without being charged
I'm extremely satisfied with the power consumption of this headset

For me the camera for N8 is the best
I started learning photography thanks to this phone

I got mine for RM1690 which is the retail price because I pre-ordered it for the 2years warranty.

No problem, that's only a temporary fix because the cause is still unknown
What is known is that there's 1 widget causing the phone to think that the phone is running that's y it won't off
However coz I'm too lazy so I just removed all widget then restart and put it back up
Last time I had this problem at least 4x a week but now I don't even have any problem anymore

The next time it occurs again just remove all widgets, then off 5min and on then it should be fixed
Till now it always work so I assume this is the correct fix

Sometimes it could be the unit the shop use to demo for ppl who wanna see.
I know it is common after showing it for a certain period of time, they'll sell it to some unsuspecting customer then open another unit for demo
Most of the time your complain will fall on deaf ear because it is your responsibility to check before buying
I'm not saying you are wrong but the is the loopholes dealers like them use making us consumers the victims
Unlike Singapore or other country where we really check 200%, here we are way too lenient
That's y they can exploit us

Try complain to them, if they insist on not changing then your last choice is here

I would suggest not sending or distributing at all
It's best to respect the privacy of others
And if this person is a friend of hers then the more you shouldn't request for this gruesome video
It's not some form of entertainment to you is it to see a person in her dying moments?
