hello all. i'm intend to get n8. but i heard from some source that n8 first batch is not stable yet as the phone will die itself. then cant charge or switch on neither. i know there's a warranty but i dun wanna send my new phone to service centre as it will take long time for it to repair. =( any advise or comments of n8 users here?

The defect is only 5% thus it actually really depends on your luck
There might be some minor glitch here and there but the major issue such as dead N8 is rare
Currently I've used my N8 for a month or so now and I do not experience any major issues yet
Rather the longer I use it, the smoother my N8 became

If you do not wish to test your luck then i would suggest you to wait but i won't know how long you need to wait
And if you are asking about 2nd batch, there is no way to determine when or which phone is 2nd batch
So ask yourself first whether do you need this phone urgently?

if you hate to wait your phone for repair. then just wait until come out stable firmware/N8. if you wanna take a risks just buy it. because got some user not having problem with their N8 my 2 cents
