MUST READ!!! Nokia N8 that send to Nokia Care Center (NCC) for Repairing...
PLEASE BACKUP YOUR INFORMATION ALWAYS!!!
1. Inspect your Nokia N8 condition before send in (for scratch marks, screen, buttons condition, camera lens condition, body build condition), this is the items that need to be check after the fixed.
2. Send your Nokia N8 to the nearest authorise Nokia Care Center (NCC).
3. State your problem statement cleary to the NCC technician and log a work order.
4. Check your work order receipt on the device conditions check mark (ensure the technician not WRONGLY mark your device send in conditions)
5. Send a personal mail to nokiamalaysia1@ovi.com with:
a. Your work order ID.
b. Your problem statement.
c. The Nokia Care Center (NCC) lacation that you send in.
d. Date of send in, time of send in if possible.
e. Your contact number.
6. Keep on calling the Nokia Care Center on DAILY BASIS (if facing no one pick up the phone, just keep calling and send this issue to the nokiamalaysia1@ovi.com as well)
7. During the device fixed and before signing ANY documents, please check the fixing quality for any EXTRA COSMETIC defect like:
a. Extra scratch marks.
b. Screen condition and alignment.
c. Camera lens (ensure no DUSK inside the lens)
d. Body painting condition.
e. Top/Bottom plastic covers are fully flushed in.
f. All screws are properly flushed.
g. Buttons condition (feel by pressing it)
h. Top/Bottom label condition.
i. Overall phone condition.
j. Widgets are properly install.
k. For CHANGED MOBO, please ensure warranty are updated with the NEW IMEI#.
8. After sastify with the repair quality, sign the release documents.
9. Enjoy your newly fixed Nokia N8, and keep monitoring on it's performance (just in case the original failures not been properly fixed).
