why there was no official EA server in malaysia ?
even country like thailand also have 4 Official EA servers
and few non-EA servers

why no malaysia

guys, if possible, can let me know playable IP's here (& also where u guys always hang around).. i dont have GFX to try the game. have to wait few days till my 6800 arrives .

the name filtering doesnot seem to work with me, i have to manuall key in IP one by one

well , all seeing eye is telling me , ping to pagn and asiabf2 is like 1000 ms

Thailand got their own BF2 server cos their BF2 is localised. Imagine localised BF2 here.. 'Ya,Tuan!' Oh man... the horror.Come to think of it, cant imagine localised Thai BF2 either.

Still.. as ever once said, running around killing people cant do anything. Gotta go to one server to co-ordinate tactics. Anyone a Zero Hour fan here? Could be handy as commander

well, most @mp LAN division are crazy abt Zero Hour... but gestapo likes to Arti own teammate alot ...

yea, i been doing ok using commander so far.

commander also has to be good in predicting the opposition's next move.

I prefer to play on EA TH (thailand) servers. They have the best ping. Next up is probably OGN servers over at Australia (stats seem to update pretty quickly).

On another note, I feel that Battlefield 2 engine cannot really cope with 64 players. A 32 player server responds much, much better. If you're on the ground with like 20+ players in a battle, melee fights almost always guarantee jerkiness and death.

yeah.. EA TH got the best ping.. but i guess their server cant handle bf2 pretty well.. i always encounter spike when

1. driving/piloting vehicle.
2. using SRAW/TOW/Eryx.
3. entering/exiting vehicle.

usually i just go to OGN & play there, even tho pings a lil bit high then EA TH, i think theyre servers can handle bf2 better. even the players are better.

internode servers are quite ok too...
150-250ms most of the time...

yeap i prefer internode servers..try playing at 3am and above..no lag..shame on mygo!

Yea I get some lags on using missile guidances. But then.. Havent played much, so cant talk much.

So where we're gonna play if @mp guys gather up?

hmm, when playing commander mode, how to request the squads to attack certain locations thru the MAP? Well, i only know how to fire the alterlery,scans, UAV and supplies.

In the Commander view (press Caps Lock), you can see a list of squad on the left pane. Select a squad (or use CTRL to select multiple squads) and then right-click on the map to bring up a list of orders you can give.
