sorry, still doesnt hav an idea how 2 do it?? what do i expect after resetting my phone? how to reset it? all my data wud be lost??

Froyo user reporting in!!!

Morning guys..

i try to set alarm on froyo last night, but cant change the alarm tone.
only silent available... WTH

who need alarm with silent tone...

pls refer to page1 for all the code..

once you reset it, it will set yr phone to factory default.
meaning that you will lose all yr app/contact/etc... advice to make a backup of yr phone b4 doing any reset.

prob is, i cant even get my phone to start, after switch on, only appears the force close message, cant get to app drawer, the main screen or anything else

this is serious case dy.. no idea whether other expert here know how to fix this problem..

I would suggest that you try to re-flash the firmware.

the only way is reflash firmware, G5 has no recovery mode..........so cant hard reset on boot loader

how can i find the contact number on the sending sms msg?

oppp... sorry. guess it really hard to understand. jz simply say, can i save all the contaqct no. frm my sim card into phone memory? so it might be easy for me to seacrh the name or number whn i wanna sent sms txt msg to thm. wat i mean is, i cannot find any contact number or name when i try sending sms to my fren rite now, coz i jz bought the phone yesterday...

I suggest you use android market to download the apps "Handcent SMS"
many ppl using this

One of the best features for Froyo 2.2 is Tethering & Portable Hotspot feature.

it acts like a Mi-Fi device. Other friends which is not on a data plan can connect to my phone to get online. Cool feature.
