I suggest that u flash Speedmod's K9 kernel if u really just applied Doc's rom yesterday. In that case your system might not be corrupted enough. Just flash Speedmod's K9 then it's ok http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=822756

There are several symptoms:

* Directory names gets CAPSED: Example: /system/bin becomes /system/BIN
* files becomes unreadable, or directories becomes unlistable
* user.log is created (seems it could be created in other situations)


i have the user.log created...
so i need to flash doc's room again?
or jst direct ODIN build #31?

ya, it gets corrupted gradually. will not be noticeable until u're unable to read some files or lose some data and apps refer to XDA, see what Supercurio says.

best solution would be reflash stock rom with odin, then apply the K9 kernel.

market not working is not related to root?? try clearing ur cache

cleared a few times + factory reset .... is it related to CSC problem coz i changed from SIN to XSP (s'g unbranded) ....

This is the correct way to flash:

1. Download K9 CWM file, put it in your sdcard, also put Doc's ROM.
2. Boot into recovery.
3. Flash the K9 kernel, DO NOT REBOOT.
4. Go to Advanced ULK options -> reboot into recovery.
5. Now choose mounts and storage -> Format system
6. Now flash Doc's ROM, and immediately after, flash K9 CWM zip AGAIN! (Without a reboot in between)
7. You phone should boot right up now.
8. DO NOT FLASH any bugged kernel after this, or you will have to repeat this process.

AGAIN.. DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK

the new kies now stated my firmware is the latest version instead of this device could not be updated....think there will be fixes for froyo

yeah, stock ROM is fine for me. i have added in customize icons, battery and as well as AOSP lockscreen. The difference between stock ROM and DOC's ROM would be apps removed and of course DOC's theme.

except that it's been tweaked
