friend and me are thinking of starting eve. thinking of doing something thats not too combat-ish. whats the best career path for 2 ships team? something thats fun and not too hard to get into?

btw ive played eve before, but friend is completely new. any ideas?

the best career path in eve is combat because the end game is mostly PVP......for 2 ships team, doing mission in 2 ships is better and faster.....

any1 know how fuel blocks works? i got a small pos to refuel so i need to know how to go about it since i'm hardly on these days.

Get you & your friend to train up an alt with minimal skill points to do low sec ninja salvage, then he/she can start train up a main in whatever you 2 want to do. So while his/her main is training up, you 2 can go salvaging, or you can run high level mission and he/she salvage (I'm assuming you have a high skill point pilot).

Don't think Incursion is for new players. The skill point requirements is a bit heavy. I still trying to fit a decent Abaddon and find out that I probably still need 40+ days of skill tranings to do so. Bloody cap hungry Abaddon.


They are replacing all the fuel with fuel blocks. So instead of burning specific fuel base on what you have on your station, you burn a fixed fuel block (1 per hour for small POS, 2 for medium, 4 for large I think). There are 4 types of fuel blocks, 1 for each faction. They introduced the BPO for the blocks couple of weeks ago. This week (I think) they doubled the POS cargohold so you can start loading the new fuel blocks into your station. They are moving over to burining fuel blocks instead of fuel on 24th January.

Hmm.. after a short stint in eve few years ago. I am again going to give it another go. But how the crap am i going to login when it ask me what my Eve character name. Forgot!

check your email from CCP. usually their email started with "Hi [main character's name]"......then you know what your main character name.

Nope.. that's account name. But fortunately.... after trying most of my MMO handles for the past 10 years... got 1 of it right lol.

How can i see my character info? do i need to re-activate before i can?

Go setup your new API key, then import that API key into EVEBOARD.

Not sure if it works on expired account or not though. You can also ask for 4 hours game time. They give you that for you to go buy PLEX in market. You can only use it once though, until after you re-subscribe.
