sbsetting

Initially reluctant to upgrade to 4.2.1 as many negative feedback here, but after all ... tried it.

Here is my own experience after upgrade from 4.1 on my iPhone 4 DiGi set :-

1) All previous backup data retained. Previously main concern.

2) No "paraller" time usage issue.

3) Far better battery life now. Previously main scare.

4) 17 new Text Tone.

5) Free MobileMe account for Find My iPhone only.

So, did any shifu shifu here know what is this all about? I just wan to know is this serious and should i send it back to Maxis for claim? How is the claim from Maxis? 1 to 1 exchange or....send back to factory for weeks or months?

guys...can i keep on connect my phone via usb..while working coz i use it for ipod...keep chargin like tat will harm my phone?

if i was u ..i like to charge first until full..then unplug.. use ipod until 20%..then charge it back.. better from leave it full charge but still plugged then use ipod

more better if charge till full then unplug
dont just keep connect even fully charge

who distributes iphone4? anybody know?

Machines? err wht u mean

only local telco are selling iPhones (Maxis or DiGi for now)

Under settings or this works only if i jail break?

lets say my phone now have contact A, B and C. then i sync to my ms outlook..this means my outlook will have this A B C contacts? if i delete B...then A and C in my phone..next time i sync...B from ms outlook going to be in my phone? or the B going to be remove from ms outlook?

sbsetting is a app for jailbroken phone...
not available thru original settings...

eh guys...i got a question regarding ipod in iphone 4...recently i imported a few music album into it..i have inserted the album art manually which i found in google image...

now i got a prob...in ipod in landscape view (album art browser) i saw all the album arts displayed nicely...but when playing, some shows up..some not...

is there any specific size for the album art to be ?..like 300x300?...because i downloaded several different sizes..

and how to put lyrics into the songs?..or make the ipod download lyrics by itself...

where can get the best price iphone 4 now?

Dear Guys and Gals,

I am using Blackberry at the moment and wanting to find out the followings:

1) since i rely or use email function a lot, both overseas and local, would iphone 4 be a suitable device to change to?

2) the data size per email, is both blackberry and iphone 4, the same?

3) i had used the iphone 4 for a week in Germany to check emails only and was charged close to RM950 for about 4 days only .. that is why i am wondering the downloaded data or email size ..

1) no... sorry to say that sometimes push function for email on iphone apparently quite slow and not as fast as BB, but since i dont rely much on the email so its not such a problem... but most of the time i will get real time emails (usually from facebook notification) i guess it depends on how good the connection in that area as well...
about the local or overseas.... well it depends too... if ure going to australia (for eg) its simple because u can just buy micro sim card from optus (for eg also) and they have micro sim too just for iphone...

2) im not sure what ure trying to say here but ive received 4mb email without problems..... so im not sure how BB can take per-email thou

3) so meaning u roaming and u use data? well that's why it's sky high.... the data download is like this;
i. when u receive an email around 2mb... iphone will received it as 2mb
ii. when there is some notification on ur Facebook (for eg) it will use data

so u see, iphone solely depended on the data so u need to be careful when roaming and checking emails...

i guess for a peace of mind... change to the country's local telco to avoid frustration and money wasting...

Current Firmware : 4.2
Current network: Maxis
iTunes Version : latest version
PC/MAC : PC
Jailbreaking software : non JB
Problem Encountered : when on or charging, screen stuck at apple logo
Steps Taken So Far : before it stuck at apple logo (meaning normal homescreen appear) i've tried restart, reboot, restore firmware, but then when i was using phone with battery 28%, suddenly screen blackout, then tried on, it stuck at apple logo. i was thinking to sent to maxis claiming warranty and get new iphone4. do you all think its the next step that i shud do

hi guys, i just bought a cheap USB cable at rm20...i want to ask..if i use this to sync and charge..will it harm my phone?...(coz i wan to put a cable at office and 1 at home)...

so far my clique use it ok ~

p/s the usb cable life more shorter than the iphone actually ~ u can see later haha..

should be no problem but better fine quality usb one,like capdase or etc
